I don’t do reviews very often but I love this bin. Large 50 litre capacity means not having to change the bag most days as with my previous pedal bin. No touch opening so clean and easy to use. A simple wave over the lid will open it and remain open long enough to bin your waste then it neatly closes. If you need to keep it open for a prolonged spell simply open it then turn off the little power switch on the back and it stays open until you are all done, turn it back on again and away you go. It is fairly sturdy construction and the retaining ring for the bin bags is great as keeps the bag where it should be until ready to empty. I got white to fit in with my white units and looks smart, easy to clean too. Takes 4 size C batteries but I can’t comment on how long they might last as not had it long enough yet.

Decent little bin. I've held off reviewing this as a lot of the reviews mention poor battery life but give no idea of how long they lasted! I bought some cheap batteries and installed them on the 27th of August, they ran out on the 13th of November so just over 2.5 months. This is our main bin so gets activated at least 10 times a day, for a sensor running 24/7 I don't think the battery life is that bad at all. Reasonable capacity, suits smaller households. The hoop inside holds the bin liner inside the bin which is handy with cats that love to shred anything plastic. The bin liner isn't visible on the outside. Sensor works well and is quick to activate. Overall good value for money and looks good.

This is an excellent sensor bin. Rapid action of the lid. Ability to open and then close by a button. Decent size 50l. Looks really smart. Uses c sized batteries so last for a long time.

Good size bin, sturdy, lid mechanism works great. Would have got 5 stars however, the sensor on the bin is very sensitive, it sits approx 10 inches from the underside of the kitchen work surface which caused it to open and not close. I had to stick a black piece of card under the surface and it works fine now.

Very pleased with this bin. It's shorter and wider than the bin it's replaced which makes it easier to remove a full bag. I also like that the on/off switch is on the outside of the lid so you don't need to open to switch off.

Worked well but had it just under 2 years and motor seems to have stopped working as well. Can't lift the lid open more than an inch, whereas it used to open fully. Not a battery issue - have replaced a few times to try and resolve the problem, used duracell batteries but still motor not functioning fully. Expensive bin to have a motor fail within 2 years of purchase.
