That's what he is using it for. Looks very stylish too. Loose fit as we bought him a large. Fit and material was excellent. Husband found it comfortable and breathable. And from the material you can tell no matter how many times u wash it, there will be no bubbles. When washed it dries very quickly. Highly recommend as a gift or for gym or just for everyday comfortable top.

I’ve been using the Under Armour Men’s Tech 2.0 T-Shirt as an undergarment vest for workouts and day-to-day wear. The material is impressively lightweight and does a great job at keeping you cool and dry, especially during intense activity or warm weather. It’s breathable and comfortable once it’s on.That said, there are a few drawbacks worth mentioning. First, the price is on the higher side for what is essentially a performance vest. Second, sizing can be inconsistent—while the large feels quite roomy, the medium runs tight. I also found the neck opening to be unusually narrow, which makes putting it on and taking it off a bit of a struggle, especially compared to other similar shirts.Overall, it does the job well in terms of comfort and moisture control, but be prepared for some trial and error with the sizing.
