As another reviewer noted, the push button version wasn't designed to allow you to change the batteries. The batteries failed after only a few short sessions, and when attempting to replace them, the entire battery compartment came off! There is no way to replace the batteries or fix the compartment, thus making this disc a complete waste of money. Needless to say, I'm very disappointed with this product and Amazon for selling such junk!

Cool toy, good weight, easy and fun to play with at night. mine was missing two of the fiber optic elements when it arrived :( but it works well anyway.

Order this disc. Now.This review is for the BLUE disc.PROS:-Shines with perfect brightness at night. The battery is at the center, and there are fiber-optic strings protruding to the edges.-Throws incredibly well. Seriously, this disc almost always moves in a straight path, even if you're terrible at throwing a normal Ultimate disc. Forehand and backhand throws are very smooth.-Even after being thrown into a hard surface like a street or tree, the disc lights up just fine every time.CONS:-Becomes a little flimsy after heavy use. The plastic it's made from is not as hard as a normal Ultimate disc. However, the disc throws just as well as it did the first time I tried it.-The edges become worn from grinding/hitting the street. Fully expected with anything plastic. Try to use in a grassy or sandy area.I threw this disc at the beach a few times, and it has landed in the water with no affect on the light. So, it can take a little bit of water, but always tried to avoid water if you can. This disc is water resistant, NOT water proof.Keep in mind that this disc is 10 grams more massive than a normal 175g Ultimate disc. If anything, that's a good thing, but this disc is technically not an official Ultimate disc.

DO NOT BUY THIS.it looks like its been already used.not worth of paying $17 and it looks cheap too.

As a father's day gift for my husband, I ordered 2 different types of discs because the reviews had pros and cons to both discs. We liked this disc the best. My husband loved the Nite Ize disc because it felt and threw like a regular disc (little heavier). My 8 yr old twin boys also were able to participate easily with it. We enjoyed using it so much as a family that I have ordered another one so we can have 2 to take camping and to the beach. Since we have just received it and therefore only used it a few times, I can not speak of its durability but I can tell you it is a lot of fun. It was easier to use at dusk where we could still see each other but as it got really dark I would agree with the others who have posted re: players to wear glow sticks to identify where people are at.The other disc I ordered, Aerobie Skylighter Disc was terrible. It never lit up and it was large, floppy, and awkward. The kids gave it a thumbs down because it was so hard for them to throw. My husband hated everything about it. So this family will be sticking with the Nite Ize discs.

The frisbee is very great! It has a bright LED light, looks nice and it was a gift to my friend who loved ultimate frisbee and he loved it!A few drawbacks of the product is its not the standard weight of a regular frisbee, its more heavy, but im guessing thats from the battery.

The light up frisbee is a creative product and a lot of fun to play with at night. I had a blast playing some Ultimate Frisbee at night with this thing (players wear glow in the dark wristbands to differentiate teams). Great for any group activity that may take place in the dark. This is much better than frisbees made of 'glow in the dark' material in that you can see the light-up frisbee at night fairly well.The frisbee is not regulation 'Ultimate Frisbee' size and the light 'switch' at the bottom is finicky and does turn itself off from time to time. The switch is a round knob under the disc that you twist and a slight knock can sometimes throw it into the off position. This can get annoying at times.Frisbee is copyrighted, so when I say 'frisbee,' I mean "flying disc."
