Very cool toy for the money.

The device is fully assembled and will work in bright light. I have it in a north facing window and the only light is reflected off a white garage. It spins away happily.

Spins faster than anticipated. Small but looks great. Seems to be well built, though fragile. Used a flashlight and the sun. My son likes putting Lego wheels and tires on top and balance. Stimulating.

This product is about the size of a pint of liquid, meaning very small. Not worth your money, buyer beware.

While running in direct sunlight, I can turn the base 180 degrees, and it will come to a complete stop, then start spinning in the opposite direction. If turned 90 degrees, it will come to a complete stop. A black mark on the base helps me optimize its best running positions. It's very well balanced and self starting.
