These thread adapters hats saved me hundreds of dollars and a lot of heartache with my vintage Honda scrambler build. I had removed the old exhausts off my 78' CB400T to put some newer ones on and when I went to tighten the headers down, one of the header studs stripped out of the aluminum block I tried various methods to repair it and started looking into purchasing Timeserts. Timeserts are very expensive ($300 for 5 and the tooling) and hard to come by, I just happened to have found these threaded adapters. They were a much more customizable and available option that saved me hundreds. Plus, I was able to get the length and size I needed in stainless steel! I will be saving these threaded adapters to a wish list, so I know where to find them when I need them again.

Used for head bolt, holding perfectly!

These thread adapters are well made, and fit both threads perfectly. Allow me to use M3 bolts with an M5 thread. There is a slot for a flat screwdriver in one end of each adapter, for cinching it down.
