Stage Line VU800/SW LED Audio dB VU Display

Im lucky enough to own four of these, ive mounted them in a 4u cabinet to make 8track level monitoring in my studio im wating for more stock then buying four more to provide 16track monitoring

Nice bit of gear, quite hefty metal construction. Has 40 LED's per side 20 green, 10 yellow and 10 red. The power supply is a bit rubbish - it's a euro adaptor with a UK 3 pin adaptor, it does work but a proper UK PSU would be nice. Overall very good

It couldn't be easier to set up, with pass through phono (RCA) connections. Perfect for my needs.

The media could not be loaded. Got this to show the output level of my computer audio before it gets to the amp, and fun.I like the dot display best. The LEDs are fast.It feels solid and basic. I’m thinking that there is less to go wrong if it has less features but... it would have been really nice if it had a little mic in it to have the option to measure ambient sound level and not have to use the phono connectors . But I knew that so can’t really complain .Mild panic when I first hooked up. No light or anything ! Oh it was set to low. 5 mins adjusting it using the two screws to get it where I wanted.The red LEDs seem much brighter. But of course that made sense because red is the warning . So I set it not to go into the red at normal level. When a track with higher level came on it went into the red. Just what I wanted.The plug is good. Has the option to use it with Uk or European sockets.Very very pleased but lose one star because there is no small LED to show it’s plugged in and switched on. It would be useful.
