CHALA Sweet Messenger Mid Size Shoulder Purse with Adjustable Strap

I love the Chala messenger midsize bags. They are so cute and colorful and well made. They're made from vegan leather which is basically faux leather, and they make designs on them from layered vegan leather rather than painting the images on. They come in a variety of colors and the Chala bags also come in a variety of sizes and styles. I personally prefer the messenger size which doesn't really look like a messenger bag to me by design, but in terms of the size it is just right it's a midsize bag that is fairly flat the bottom may be a couple of inches and it narrows a little bit more towards the top. It has an outside pocket in the front big enough to put a cell phone in or keys or or sunglasses. It is a tighter pocket in the back that allows you to put something else there wallet or bus pass or IDs. And in the middle there is a zippered section that allows you to put your main contents and inside that section there is also a couple of pockets for different things tissues pens zippered section for coins or whatever. And I really like that the bottom of the purse is reinforced with vegan leather is that the part that tends to get wet or worn down or whatever so that gives more life to the purse. But I also has very long adjustable straps that you can use as a crossbody bag or put it on your shoulder. The only thing that I would say that is the part that wears down the most is the edges at the top near the zipper and the edges at the top of the pockets, which the vegan leather gets worn down over time and the stain comes off. But even after a couple of years of use the purse still holds up structurally. And I love all of the cute designs there's hundreds if not thousands of different animals and flowers and different things like that that they put on the design on the purses. This particular design which is a purple purse with a floral pattern is one of my favorites.

I love this bag! This is the second CHALA bag that I have owned. The first is still going strong but it’s the next bigger size and I wanted a bag that was a bit smaller for daily use. This one fits the bill perfectly. It has the right amount of storage pockets, does not look bulky when full and has an adjustable strap and is well made. It does not have the built in key ring holder like the bigger bag, but I’m so pleased with it overall I really cannot complain.

I really like the size of this purse and that it has two outer compartments to slide items in. On the inside are several small compartments to put items in which I find useful for small trinkets like lip balms. It also has a zipper compartment in the main compartment, which is also very useful to put items in that need some more protection. The material of the purse is soft and could pass for real leather. It is not stiff. The applique si well-made and durable. The shoulder straps can be adjusted in length and are definitely long enough for a variety of body types and clothes thicknesses. The purse is also surprisingly roomy and can carry even the weight of two small water bottles plus other items.

I get lots of compliments on my purse. It is sturdy and has held up well.

This bag is very well made. It’s not leather but has the soft feel of it. Both the inside and outside show attention to detail. A portion of the profits go to help animals which is a bonus. The size is perfect and the strap is long enough to wear crossbody comfortably.
