Good product

This is totally not the intended purpose, but I can't be alone in my use of it lol. These are PERFECT for ferrets to play in. They're clear so you're able to see them, the ferrets aren't able to rip or claw through them, and the stretch makes it fun if you turn it into an obstacle course. I had been looking for a clear expandable tube option that's truly indestructible to ferrets and finally found it.

I bought this hose to use between the dust collector, a planer and some other wood working tools. It works well and stands up to shop life. I have even stepped lightly on them and been able to reform them back to shape again. The internal ribs do collect some dust, but despite the warnings on the internet, I have not noticed a performance loss in dust collection. I shake the hose every week or so to get loosed up the caught dust while the collector is running.

I recently bought an off brand since I wanted a 70ft length. I had purchased Powertec for all my other runs. Once the other brand 70ft arrived and had it stretched to length, it was pretty easy to feel the quality difference. Powertec feels like a heavy duty version that will stand the test of time. Now to return the other brand and look at splicing some Powertec hoses. Photo - off brand on top. Powertec on bottom

This is a great hose overall. It works great as tube extension because it is very rigid. The metal coil is nice and heavy/thick as compared to the Dust Right version. The plastic vinyl is also thicker than most other hoses. As handheld vacuum hose it's too stiff, rigid and heavy. Not a big problem, just worth noting.

Use it with a leaf vac/shredder. Tube is durable enough to survive small sticks and periodic blockage. Those hose clamps are not tough enough for heavy use - probably sufficient for indoor, dust collection.

Have not actually used it yet…but I have couple of the 3”…same material….pretty tough and flexible

Appears good quality, will need some use but don't anticipate any issues.

La manguera es de buena calidad, no genera estatica, es transparente asi que uno puede ver si adentro hay algo atorado, es de buen tamaño y ajusta bien en las entradas de las maquinas. Muy satisfecho!
