Beautiful rug. I have a 4x6’ version of this rug so knew (I hoped) what I was getting. Shipping was fast and it was well packaged. The rug is EXACTLY 6’x8’ as advertised. I didn’t notice any smell and haven’t noticed any shedding (consistent with the smaller one), and it unrolled flat except for the tight edge, which I’m flattening with hand weights. It has a fairly deep and dense weave. It doesn’t need a pad but I repurposed a good quality 3/8” rug pad I already had and the extra cushioning makes it feel elegant. Excellent quality for the price. Very happy with the purchase. Update to the above review: this rug does shed (unlike the 4x6’ version of same I’d purchased a year earlier). It’s easily picked up with the vacuum cleaner and hopefully will diminish over time. Still happy with the rug.

This rug is beautiful. I’m so happy with my purchase and I was surprised with the quality for the price. The color is much more pink than red, and the texture is soft. I have it in a kid’s room for two girls. It didn’t have a strong odor and doesn’t shed very much at all. The size was perfect for our room. It is very heavy so it lays flat nicely.

Ok, so I’ve had this area rug and a matching runner since September. There are more pros than cons, really. I would buy this again once it disappears entirely (see cons). Pros: - the rug is gorgeous. The colors in the pattern are subtle and match our room perfectly. There are bits of gray, sea foam, and taupe. Unexpected and stunning. - the rug is thick and wrinkles came out very well. We unrolled the rug and re-rolled it in the opposite direction, left for 24 hours, unrolled, and vacuumed without issue Cons: - can’t be cleaned with a carpet cleaner; you WILL ruin the carpet with the aggressive brushes. So maybe not great of you have kids/pets - it’s wool, so one of our friends is allergic to our house now, but not us, so not my biggest concern. - this is the big one: it SHEDS. The reviews said it would stop after a couple vacuums. I vacuum this twice a week and every time I empty the vacuum, there is enough wool to knit mittens. Our hardwood floors collect wool bundles in every corner. There’s a light dusting of carpet fibers everywhere: on our clothes, furniture, counters. Will it stop? Will I eventually vacuum up the entire rug? Only time will tell. We have a non-shedding, hypoallergenic dog, so we weren’t used to shedding, unfortunately. So, in the end, gorgeous rug that will accompany you wherever you go, because you’ll be covered in fibers. But worth it. Would buy again.

This rug works perfectly in my entryway. It is soft to walk on, nicely woven, and a great quality. The colors are slightly different than they appear on line but they worked perfectly in my space. I ordered the Ivory/Light grey but it truly has more seafoam green than grey. I tried to take several close up pictures to help show the various colors woven through out. It took several days to lay completely flat and of course it does shed a little which is to be expected with a wool rug. I did have to add a non slip rug pad to keep it from sliding on my hardwood floors. Overall, I am extremely pleased with this rug and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality rug at a great price!

I purchased a 9x12 wool rug in the Abstract Collection. The rug is beautiful! The 1star is for the customer service. The rug arrived dirty, therefore I called the company’s helpline, and I was told to write an email and open a ticket with the issue. I didn’t receive a reply! I cannot return the item because I had recent surgery, and I don’t have anyone available to pack the rug and take it down the stairs for me. It is large, and cumbersome, and it took a couple of friends to move it to my bedroom. I was going to hire a carpet cleaner to try to clean it, rather than return it, so I asked the company for a rebate. Like I said, I haven’t had anyone reply to my email. The rug itself is gorgeous, so I want to keep it for sure. I would like to get another one in a 10x12 if they make it, but I’m not sure I can afford to deal with Savafieh after these shenanigans.

ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE QUALITY AND BEAUTIFULLY WELL MADE RUG. I WAS GOING TO CANCEL THIS RUG AND SO THANKFUL THAT IT DID NOT GO THROUGH. I HAVE NO SHEDDING AND IT IS MORE THAN I EVEN EXPECTED! I WILL BE BUYING AGAIN FROM THIS SELLER AS THEIR QUALITY IS SO WORTH THE PRICE! THE COLOR MATCHED PERFECTLY AND IS SO SOFT BUT THICKER THAN EVEN HOPED FOR. THIS RUG IS A KEEPER. I BOUGHT THE 5X7 FOOT. AGAIN EXCELLENT QUALITY ESPECIALLY FOR THE MONEY. I AM SO IMPRESSED!!!

I bought two smaller rugs to confirm that I’d like the pattern before ordering the room sized version. I looove, looove(d) this rug. The style, the color variation, thickness with no padding, the quality. It did have a period of intense shedding, but it lessened after a few weeks of deep vacuuming. I loved the rug. After several weeks of rolling around on it, our dog was constantly breaking out in hives and itching to the point of tearing his skin. We tried the usual remedies, but it finally clicked that he was allergic to the wool. I was also breaking out in hives, but I can suffer in the name of style and avoid sitting on the rug. So disappointed because now we’re back to plastic rugs that’ll be matted and trashed in two years tops. :(

Nice rug. So far it is holding up beautifully to cats claws. Ivory with light brown and grey flecks give the rug texture and interest. It is beautiful make, the underside is professional quality. No odors that I can detect. Yes it does shed buckets, but only when I vacuum and does not affect the quality.

Beautiful rug but overpriced and rug had a dark ?grease liked spot on it when received - that is not shown well in the picture
