Pill Popper for Blister Packs: an aid for Arthritis, Parkinson's and Those with weak Hands to Remove Tablets Easily & Quickly from Blister Packs

Only needed for one particular tablet so was going to purchase one of the cheaper versions. As the tablet was pretty tough I thought it better to invest a bit more . After reading the reviews I thought I'd give this a go . I wasn't disappointed. Iv been struggling for months as I wasn't aware there was a popper for larger tablets. This is the perfect solution. Well made and ease of use .

I manage a GP practice and we use these to help make up blister packs for our patients who would otherwise struggle - either with opening their meds or with adhering to the schedule for taking them. So we are dealing with 28 days-worth, four times a day with many patients on 6-10 tablets at a time, for around 70 patients - the devices are in almost constant use by 3 staff members. Over 5,000 tablets a month. We don't use them on super-large tablets or on capsules - its too easy to break a capsule, and the foils tend to be thinner anyway so these are less bother to do manually. We find that they break at the narrow part of the moulding just above the trigger, and they last between 5 and 6 months with this level of workload. For home use I imagine they'd last several years. A quality product that I'm quite happy to re-purchase every 6 months as it's so effective and a real time (and finger) saver.

On the plus side, this pill popper makes the job of getting the tablets out of the packs super easy, and prevents my fingers from getting sore having to pop so many pills from their sleeves every day. However, this is now the 3rd popper I've purchased as the plastic has a tendency to crack and makes the mechanism useless as there isn't enough pressure to pop the pill. Whats frustrating, is that it usually goes just after I've been using them for a year, so clearly these have a shortish shelf life, and they aren't cheap to replace. That said, when you have to remove so many pills every day, it's still the best gadget to have, so here I am, on my third popper.

Makes life easier deals with stubborn packs with ease, I use mine with the weekly dose box dropping the tablets straight into each compartment meaning I don't have to handle them until needed

Got this pill popper yesterday afternoon already buying a second one. My dad has been having trouble with doing his tablets due to weakness and that, we saw this thought worth a try he loves it. Strong enough to be used and less stress on your hands for the price we have paid was brilliant. All different sizes of tablets can be used for this is the best thing for tablets ever brought.

This is a real asset for my carpal tunnel problem. No matter the size of tablet or soft capsule it tackles them with little or no effort from me. Ok so the downside is the mastery of getting the angle right to avoid broken tablets but once you’ve got that sorted a few broken tablets is a small price to pay for not having painful digits hands & wrists, and yes it’s more expensive than some but the build of it justifies the cost.

Serves its purpose well, but weak construction means the lower arm will eventually crack at the same weak point. Can see others have had the same problem - disaappointing this hasn't been addressed in a revised product design, given the high price.

Goodness! It actually works. Arthritic hands and 520 pills to remove from blister packs at a session persuaded me to buy this nifty little gadget. It really does what it says.

Spitzenteil, hatte viel in der Beobachtung und dachte, bezahle lieber gleich mehr, aber habe dann Qualität, und stimmte. Funktioniert einwandfrei und durch die Pistolenform sehr einfach zu bedienen.

Ich muss einiges an Tabletten nehmen, und stelle mir meine Tabletten immer für drei Wochen im Voraus. Früher hatte ich ganz oft eingerissene Fingerspitzen von den Folien der Tabletten. Und ich fand es sehr anstrengend, zumal ich teilweise weniger Gefühl in den Fingern habe. Mit dieser Pillenzange funktioniert das Tabletten stellen viel einfacher und schneller. Ich kann sie nur wärmstens empfehlen, auch wenn eine Tabletten Sorte nicht durch das Rohr passt. Aber dann nehme ich es halt einmal ab und setzt es anschließend wieder auf.
