These markers are remarkable. They are so nice they even wrote on cellophane without coming off or smugging. Great purchase.

Perfect for may purpose
I needed something to write on old photographs for archival purposes and these are the perfect item. My only issue is Amazon's minimal packaging. The leads were all broken. I appreciate Amazon's attempt at reducing packaging, but just a simple sheet of corrugated inserted into the package would minimize damage.

Broken tips upon arrival, poor protection during shipping.
Every one of these arrived with a broken tip that just fell out from end of pencil and then required sharpening! Maybe just ship them unsharpend in the first place. They seem to work well and otherwise be what I was expecting.

All you ever wanted from a pencil
Worked OK. Readable on different colored surfaces. Some colors better than others. Thought other reviewers were whiners when complaining about broken tips. I was mildly annoyed when I had to dig into ancient pencil boxes for a sharpener just to experiment. Yes, I had to test to see how a pencil works (sigh).

Needed this black pencil for a project as it gives a great effect when sprayed with water. Three for one the red pencil is just as good - haven't tried the white as I would have to do on black paper but a great purchase and a tool to add to my arsenal.
