I went into this with measured expectations — VEVOR isn't Snap-on — but for the price this mechanics set genuinely delivers. It's become my grab-first kit for general work and I haven't had cause to complain. Coverage is excellent. Having 1/4" and 3/8" drive covered in one case means you're not hunting for a separate shallow/deep set or running out of sizes mid-job. The socket selection hits all the common SAE and metric sizes you'll actually need, and the extensions and flex heads that come with it are usable quality, not just filler. The ratchets have a fine tooth count that makes them comfortable in tight spaces where swing arc is limited. Action is smooth and the direction switch is positive with no mushiness. I've put real torque through the 3/8" ratchet repeatedly and it hasn't skipped or stripped. Fit and finish on the sockets is good. Machining is clean, the chrome finish is even, and they fit fasteners snugly without the slop you get on truly cheap sets that round off bolt heads. Chrome vanadium steel throughout means they're not going to crack under normal use. The case is organized and functional. Everything has a designated spot, it closes securely, and the layout makes sense. Not a flimsy blister pack situation. For a home garage, truck work, or a secondary shop set you don't want to baby, the VEVOR delivers real value. Recommended.

Purchased this set for my son who is starting his journey with automotive technology. He gives it a 4/5. He said it would be nice if it had more metric offerings. He said it is a great starter kit and has held up great so far!

Got this for my Grandson who is always working on his truck, and always borrowing my tools. He was VERY happy with it. The ratchets are solid and robust. The 6 and 12 point sockets are good quality with a very wide selection of hex, torx and driver bits. While the kit may not have every tool he will need, it covers >80% of his needs. Quality for the price is very good. First thing it was used for was front end suspension and steering parts replacement on a Dodge truck. No issues and he even used some of the sockets on an impact driver. This is a very handy kit to carry with you and keep your tools organized. The only fault I would call out is the top carry handle of the tool box. The kit is pretty heavy and the lid of the tool kit could use some reinforcement to provide a stronger base for the top handle. I told my Grandson to carry it using the side grips to avoid damaging the lid. Overall I would recommend this toolbox for anyone who likes having a good tool kit to carry with them.

This is an awesome set of tool for the $$$$ Esp when it was even discounted during the recent Prime Days! I like that it also includes all of the in between sizes on the socket sets. While it was well packaged, it was shipped via UPS and the box had a rough ride. One of the internal case corner guards (plastic), which resulted in one of the locking panels for the slide out drawers was broken. Repeated emails with VEVOR, but their only solution was to return the whole thing to Amazon. It weighs a ton, and their is nothing wrong with the actual tools. Returning it would also involve having to drive cross town to the nearest UPS store. So, I guess it ends here. Too bad VEVOR was unable to just replace the broken case part.
