Spider-Man: Web of Shadows / Game

Met my expectations and a spidey classic

This is definitely a different tone than most people expect out of Spider-Man; some find this too serious but as a horror fan I appreciate the darker story and designs. Monsters, zombies, parasites, and even possessed-looking crazed citizens abound in this high-stakes alien invasion catastrophe story, which visibly takes advantage of the rising post-apocalypse craze of the time. The swinging and combat are slightly simplified from Spider-Man 2 (which is considered the definitive Spider-Man gaming experience for many, and also made by Treyarch), but this is a matter of taste, as the focus is shifted to other things. I played the s**t out of Spider-Man 2 and this still flows very naturally. It also still bears a repetitive quality reminiscent of Spider-Man 2's open world, but these feel less 'random' and all tie into the excellent story. For example Kingpin troops may be taking over the city, so during those chapters you'll see lots more crimes perpetrated by them. Then next chapter, maybe someone overthrows them... But who?! Your [very basic] karma system also has an effect on how people in the streets (and other heroes/villains) see you, pedestrians either cheering or screaming in fear. In this way it feels more like a dynamic ecosystem than Spider-Man 2. All in all I very much like this game. It's not the definitive Spidey experience but for a fan it's a very nice, slightly experimental deviation.

The best Spiderman game I have ever played.

スパイダーマン好きにはもちろん。箱庭ゲームとしてもかなり面白い出来だと思います。 他のスパイダーマンのゲームと違って選択肢によって複数のEDがある事と移動だけでなくバトルシステムも爽快感重視な作りになっています。エイリアンかノーマルスーツによって技も違うので敵と戦闘する際も多種多様な技が使えるのも魅力の一つかと思います。 また、ミッションや目的地などマーカーで示してくれるため英語が分からない方にも親切な作りになっていて分かりやすいです。 オープンワールドのゲームにしてはグラフィックは中々綺麗な作りでしたが、しかし、かなり詰め込んだ作りになってるので人によっては止まる可能性もあると思います。 箱庭のゲームで飽きないって人にはオススメの一品だと思います。
