Changed the way I record video
When I first bought this, I thought "oh cool, it's just a small camera" - but honestly, this has completely changed the way I record video and create content.I dont say that lightly - prior to buying this, I'd purchased a Sony ZV-E10 - which is a VERY capable DSLR camera... and its great, but its also relatively large. And if I wanted to shoot with my sony, getting it out, setting it up, etc felt like... a lot. This DJI Osmo Pocket 3 is excellent. I get it out of its case, flip the screen, and I'm ready to record almsot instantly. What I also really like... is that it isnt my phone. Which feels weird to say, but I like having this as a separate device solely for recording video/taking photos. Im not distracted by notifications, I'm not worried about available space competing with apps and other things on my phone... its just a device for recording.Image stabalization is REALLY REALLY good, and the face tracking capability makes my video punch way above its weight class looking much better than I deserve credit for.Yes - I bought this AFTER the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 came out, but I honestly just didn't see enough reason to pay more for the 4. I even tested mine side by side with a friend who got the 4... and the differences were... not really noticeable. We even filmed a multi-cam event me with the 3, him with the 4... and when you cut the footage together, you honestly cant tell.If you're on the fence between this or a DSLR - get this. The image quality out of box beats the 4k recording capabilities of my ZV-E10 without all of the configuration required... on top of the fact that this is actually less expensive of a device and seemingly more capable.

Makes Creating Content Easy and Fun
The DJI Osmo Pocket 3 is a great camera when I want something quick, compact, and convenient. The ease of use makes creating content feel fun instead of turning every shoot into a full camera setup. It's small enough that I can grab it and start filming without carrying a bunch of gear. The stabilization works great, but one of my favorite features is the face tracking. It makes filming yourself much easier, especially when you're moving around or creating content without someone else operating the camera. It also works really well with DJI's wireless microphones, which makes it easy to put together a very compact camera and audio setup. Battery life has been pretty good in my experience as well.I'd recommend the Pocket 3 for vloggers, traveling, social media content, behind-the-scenes footage, or anyone who wants high-quality video without carrying a traditional camera setup. The convenience is really what makes this camera stand out for me.

Love the portability and quality, hate the activation and app install.
I've had other mini-gimbal units and have to say the DJI just feels beefier and better. It focuses faster and just does everything else better. But - you HAVE to register it before the 5th use. If you don't, you have a paperweight until you do register it. So if you go on vacation with your new toy and have no internet, you are in trouble. This is my main complaint with every new DJI device. The app is not standards compliant and to get it to run is a bit tricky. If you already have it installed - I did - but it won't run - mine would not - you have to uninstall and download the APK from DJI using a QR code. You also have to change your security settings to allow the app to install. If you're into privacy or security, you will NOT like anything about the camera. After I went through all that on my Moto Edge 2023 the app ran fine. The first thing it did was download a firmware update. It works well and has very little lag. It uses an ad-hoc wifi network to connect to the phone, and it's all done with answering questions (allow to connect? etc.)Other stuff worth mentioning: The camera will power on and off when the screen is rotated. It's a battery hog. I went through 11% of the battery just setting it up and installing firmware. There's magnetic storage in the case for filters and a slide-in spot to keep their external mic. The "manual" reads like Ikea instructions and is all icons and arrows, and pretty useless. The included mount that snaps on the bottom is needed for using with a selfie stick or tripod, as there's no mounting threads on the gimbal - the threaded opening (1/4-20) is on the snap-on base. This also adds about 1 1/2" to the length. It's a combination of rubber, plastic and aluminum and is surprisingly heavy. The included case is handy, but does not cover the camera completely, and leaves the bottom and back totally exposed. It's not something I would just toss in a backpack or camera bag. You'll need to put it in a pouch or another case.Video quality is excellent, audio surprisingly good. The gimbal is FAST and there's a lot of features, from hyperlapse and timelapse, to 3x3 and 180 degree panoramic photos, although no 360 photos.Last night I shot some video at a 1920's themed dance. Very dark room, loud music with some heavy bass. I was amazed at the quality of the video and the clarity of the audio.

Go to Tool
has become my go‑to gadgetfor outdoor content and self‑recording. It’s lightweight, easy to carry, and the image quality is honestly beautiful. I love that it gives me several recording options — including quick horizontal and vertical modes — so I can switch between YouTube‑style shots and Reels/TikTok effortlessly. The stabilization is super smooth, the colors look clean, and it keeps me perfectly centered when I’m filming myself. It’s the perfect little tool for creators who want high‑quality footage without carrying heavy gear

Osmo pocket 3
The DJI Osmo Pocket 3 has exceeded my expectations. Its image quality is excellent thanks to the 1-inch sensor, recording 4K videos with great sharpness and very natural colors, even in low light conditions. The 3-axis stabilization works wonderfully, achieving fluid shots while I walk or move. Autofocus and face tracking are fast and accurate, making it perfect for creating content, vlogs or recording hassle-free trips.

Great camera with some annoyances
Im not a vlogger or videographer, i just wanted a fun video camera to play around with. Tbh i wanted a cam corder originally, something easy to use, this is not that. This takes a lot of getting used to with all its features and the gimbal but it takes amazing footage, its super fun to use, i love all the things i can do with it, i dont regret my purchase. The only thing i dont like about it though is that the gimbal makes it kind of fragile so its not this durable piece of travel equipment, i wish that it had some kind of protective case that stayed on it and maybe stayed attached and just slid down to turn into a handle. The protective case is just annoying because its a separate piece. So its hard to just whip this out and immediately start shooting and then quickly put it away. Its a bit of a process to get it set up and broken down.

GREAT camera, not great battery life
This camera is honestly amazing. It’s so powerful for such a tiny little thing! The video is so crisp and clear, & autofocus + the gimbal make it easy to get the perfect shot, AND it’s SUPER portableBUTThe battery life is objectively awful for long shooting sessions. You will definitely need some kind of power bank if you plan on recording for more than an hour at a time. The app is incredibly useful and I love that you can move the gimbal and adjust the focus through it and that you can essentially use your phone or tablet as a monitor during shoots!Overall a great product :)

So small and so amazing!
I really love this little action camera. It’s super easy to use and very hands-on. Everything feels simple and intuitive, so you don’t need a lot of time to figure it out. It’s small and practical, which makes it easy to carry around, and I like how customizable it is. It’s easy to plug in, connect accessories, and adjust settings depending on what you’re filming. The image and video quality are honestly impressive for such a small camera. Photos look great and videos come out very clear and smooth. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to film videos or even just take pictures. It’s a great little action camera.
