I usually don't get plain old Kraft type American cheese. My palate has grown beyond it. But sometimes you just gotta get that comfort food taste from being a kid. And this is still the sort of taste I recall. They don't seem to have "improved it out of all recollection. It's gentle on the budget too and still adds the flavor or meltiness you want. Perfect to add into a bowl of chili Only negative is the single slice wrapping is a bear and a half to get off. Had to ask my wife as she has much finer fingers than my paws. The plaatic is so thin it is very had to find the seam to peel it off.
