Terrific product, restaurant quality, not spicy.
This is superb. Very flavorful, makes a massaman curry identical to your favorite Thai restaurant. Not spicy at all which makes it work for everybody and us spice lovers can just add cayenne to our serving, or finely dice a serrano chili and add to the paste when you bloom it to get to a moderate spice level for the entire pot.

Good!
This is what they use in my local Thai restaurant, and I enjoy everything about the place except the prices. So I got some, and a good recipe, and made a darn good copy! Unlike a lot of canned curry paste, it's not overly salty.

If you miss the Asian foods you crave, this is product great!
I moved away from the big city to a small one and we just don't have all the restaurants we crave. My Asian food cookbook is great too, but our local grocery stores dont really sell all ingredients needed. Found this sauce base on Amazon, added a couple more ingredients, and it tastes exactly like what we remember from the Thai restaurants! Delish!

Great for lightweights
We love curry, but after trying the red & yellow curry pastes called for in recipes, we discovered we are too wimpy for most Thai curry pastes. After doing some research I ordered this one, and it is the solution for us. It's hot, but not too hot, and works in the recipes that call for hotter versions too.
