PlayStation 5 Pro Console

Arrived well ahead of time. Didn't need a code for the delivery which I thought was unusual. Console is excellent and a huge upgrade over my base launch PS5. Moving to the Pro now will likely be a worthwhile upgrade as it doesn't look like there will be a PS6 for a long time yet in current market conditions. There are also further price rises to consider. Make sure to toggle the switch for enhanced PSSR in the Video settings menu (it's off by default) or you are leaving a large visual upgrade on the table.

Got this console in readiness for the GTA VI coming out in November as I knew that all consoles will be out of stock around that time. However. couldn’t resist and gave in to temptation and got myself First Light 007 game. The console itself is amazing and very fast. Setting it up was a doddle too. My only bone to pick with it, is that it’s white and the black covers that Sony apparently manufactures aren’t available anywhere at all - not even from Sony itself. I used to love the all black PS4 console and would’ve liked to have the option to get the official black covers. The console is worth getting for someone looking to upgrade from the PS4 or other older consoles. Not worth it, if you already own a PS5 (normal/slim)

What can I add to what has already been said? Nothing. Beast of a unit, top graphics and gameplay.

I bought the PlayStation 5 Pro Console, and it’s been a really noticeable step up from my previous setup, which was the PS4 pro and this looks absolutely amazing. The first thing I noticed was how smooth everything feels. Games load quickly, and gameplay feels more stable, especially in more demanding titles. There’s less lag and everything just runs more consistently. Visually, games look sharper and more detailed, especially on a good screen. It’s not just about graphics, it’s the overall experience feeling more polished. I have also found it handles longer gaming sessions without any issues, and it runs quietly enough that it’s not distracting. The setup was straightforward, and once it was up and running, it just worked without needing to tweak anything. What stood out to me most is how it makes going back to older hardware feel like a downgrade, this just feels smoother and more responsive overall. It’s something I have been using regularly, and it’s made gaming feel more enjoyable without needing to think about performance.

If you are one of these people that thinks ‘the human eye cannot see more than 30fps’ this is not the console for you, stick with the base model. For everyone else it’s a good solid improvement over the PS5, the machine learning also allows a degree of future proofing. If the next gen of consoles were still coming out in 2027 Id advise holding off but it’s a sensible purchase considering the PS6 has now been delayed until 2028 at the earliest and we know that the current gen will be supported with new releases for years to come.

Such.. Amzing upgrade from,original ps5 from 2020 launch console experienceing a beter storge.The ps5 pro is a peferect option as it includes a 2tb external drive alreddy installed.

I upgraded from a PS5 and I have not regretted it.
