I'm looking for a good sony reciever that i can hook my turntable up to from the back?

He is right you need a phono preamp I use the park audio puffin it is amazing with the amount you can do with it that would be my recommendation but if your on a budget the art 3 works pretty well just basically a gain adjustment though but when you do get a preamp it sounds amazing through this receiver another option maybe upgrade your turntable to one that has a built in pre amp. But if you have the Money get the puffin it’s amazing

well yes, assuming you have multiple speakers wired to this system, then they will play audio from your phone over the bluetooth connection. but i think bt only supports stereo signals, not true 5.1 or 7.1. i.e. the center and rear speakers will play a simulated signal.

are the hdmi inputs actual inputs or just pass thru?
