Using Corelle since 20 years. Completely worth it.
I remember convincing my mother to buy Corelle dinnerware in 1995. It involved a big mind shift moving from stainless steel plates and bowls to glass, and believing that it wasn't going to break or crack. Well it's been over 20 years and we're all grown up with families of our own. But one thing that's common in all our kitchens is Corelle! The crockery is sturdy and practically unbreakable. The only way it cracks is if you heat it to much in the microwave or sudden cooling after heating. I have noticed that the problem mainly existed in the peak of Delhi winters. I haven't faced this problem in the Mumbai weather. I have a large dinner set that was bought in 2016. I use it everyday. I have bought the Begonia set as an additional set. When I compared the two side by side, I realised that no one could tell that one was new and the other has been in daily use for 2 years! If you're looking for durable and beautiful glassware for daily use or occasional use, I definitely suggest Corelle.
