The version 2 of these LED buttons is definitely better than its predecessor. The buttons response better, more defined and looks much cleaner. Without the daisy chain, it literally saves me 30 minutes of installation time! They need to come out with Yellow and Green colors! Great product!

I have bought several of these in varying styles etc. It definitely makes wiring a control panel easier than back in the day. Only problem I have are the dedicated 5v slots don't work. I purchased lighted joysticks and the 5v slots wont power them. The workaround I found was to use another style board to power the lights on the 24mm buttons and joystick. So instead of only one USB out the back of joystick I have 2.

Bought these to upgrade my Mortal Kombat Arcade1Up cabinet with a Raspberry Pi 3B+. I was nervous about installing new buttons, joysticks, and USB encoders as this was my first attempt at modding an arcade cabinet, but this kit is super easy to install. I had to drill new holes to properly center the joysticks, but other than that, there wasn't much to it. Just make sure to wire Player 1 and Player 2 identical to each other when connecting the buttons to the USB encoders and to orient the joysticks the same direction. Also, when doing a RetroPie upgrade, you'll need to add 2 buttons for Select, which I added to the front of the cabinet and used the included stickers.

Two of the button gave out on me after lightly playing twice. I haven't install the player 2 so I wonder if that one is good. I definitely recommend buying name brand. This is cheap but still a lost as it is not usable. Led was cool looking though.

I got this to use with my NEW RASPBERRY EMULATOR KIT. IT is really nice and easy to set up and looks great BUT It actually used more power then My Raspberry WITHY NEW POWER supply could send to it. No problem when using just ONE CONTROLLER using 8 buttons (I ordered 2 sets of 10 button so I would have extra in case needed for later)and the joystick but when I tried to set up the second controller using also just 8 buttons it drew to much power and would not set up. I DID Try a new power supply and had the same problem. I did not try using a larger power supply as I did not want to take the chance of burning out my Raspberry. I do plan on ordering a new set but it will be without the leds so I will not have to use power for pretty lights.
