I picked up this book with excitement. The layout and the concept is an interesting idea. But I started to get worried after the first 2 Chapters. Chapter 1 is written by someone who does not know how to explain a simple idea without getting tangled up in the most dense "I'm an academic so I better make it sound intelligent", style of writing. Yeah I can understand what the Chapters about, but who needs to read pages written in such a difficult, concentrated sytle. I was laughing to myself at the convoluted sentences I was being asked to read in the name of enjoyment. Sad! Very sad that this author just cant connect and communicate a not very difficult idea...... Chapter 2 was a translation from French into English. I got so bored reading sentences of meaningless waffle that I gave up. I pick up books to read for enjoyment not pain! Chapeter 3 was normal. It was written by an actual Interior Designer so yeah it uses real English that can be understood easily. Very interesting it was too. I have reached Chapter 10 and it has got better, ie: less written by idiots that cant make a coherent sentance, but I remain mentally scared and worry that the next chapter will bore me into submission. It better get better!!! Simon
