Approachable stories filled with humor and lessons (with 1 caveat)
Style and substance both make for an approachable read. All in all, the stories are fantastic and memorable -- even quotable by a preschooler and 1st grader. Not a huge fan as a parent, however, of the "A Swim" story given that all of the friends/animals end up laughing at Toad, essentially justifying his concern.

Great!
It took only a few days to receive this book after I ordered. And the price is not high. It is about half-priced of those in book shops. I like both the story and the illustration very much. The story is being published serially. I recommend all of those stories.

The best children's writer ever
The best children's writer ever. Gentle, charming but never cloying. Simply written stories of a friendship.

Funny stories in simple language
My 7.5 year old child (with some knowledge of English) likes the stories a lot. It is a good book for kids who are learning English as a secondary language. The language is simple and repetitive. And the stories are cute and funny.

Great book for level 2 readers
What a beautiful book about friendship! Loved the simplicity of words yet the powerful message. Really a great book for my 5 year old to read for herself
