Solar Shield Elm Fits Over Sunglasses (Dioptics)

Great product. They fit over my glasses as well. The amber color blocking us sunlight and also lets other folks see my eyes. They are also very light white and sit on the bridge of the nose rather than on the glasses. Five stars

My opthalmologist stresses the importance of eye protection when outdoors, and these sunglasses truly accomplish that. I actually don't wear them over prescription glasses, but really wanted a good quality polarized lens in a wrap-around style for outdoor wear. I first became familiar with the Solar Shield style when my opthalmologist gave me a pair to use after eye surgery two years ago, and I was impressed with the quality and clear vision offered by the polarized lenses. Having a second pair means they're always handy, for use outdoors around the house, or for driving.

I love these glasses. They fit over my clear prescription glasses do a great job, and they are not expensive. That's the good news. The bad news is that they scratch sort of easily, and if you drop them, the lenses pop out. Usually the frames are ok, but they might break. HOWEVER - for the most part I'm still happy with these glasses and you can usually pop the lenses back in if you try. For the cost they are very adequate. These glasses the ELM model are pretty wide & tall. Wide enough to fit over my daily glasses which are about 14 CM (almost 5.5 inches wide). There is a helpful graphic size chart on the Dioptics Solar Shield website if you dig around.

These glasses looked nice and material felt right but they broke very quickly over my glasses. I have others where I never had this problem. In fairness, I didn't bother to return them so I can't complain. The short period I wore them I thought the lens quality was good. My glasses are not very big so be careful of fit.

Very cheaply made of flimsy plastic. Too big for an average person and easily slips off. Will not buy again.

In the description the size of the sunglasses was not mentioned and by default Large size was sent which was very big for my husband.

aber den Polarisationsfilter merke ich primär daran, dass bei einem bestimmten Winkel die Anzeige im Amaturen-Display verschwindet. Die Reduktion der anderen Reflexionen hält sich (erwarteterweise, da die meisten Gegenstände dann doch diffus streuen) in Grenzen.

Absolutely magic.Made a huge difference when driving into sun and reduced glare to non painful event. Had early cataracts so was advised to get over sunglasses as reactolite lenses in prescription glasses dont stop IV rays through windscreen. So pleased. Such a good investment. Wish I'd bought them years ago.

As these sunglasses fit over existing glasses it may be difficult for them to fit all face sizes. I guess I am average as they fit over my glasses quite well.
