I cant seem to see what the difference is between the plus and the ultra. is the sound that much better?

Plus = 10w, BT v4, 30 hr battery, IPX5 Water Resistant Ultra= 14w, BT v4.2, 20 hr battery, IPX6 Water Resistant btw I believe they have same battery(s) but the Ultra's higher power use it up faster I believe everything else is about the same including sound except that the ultra get a little louder

I just bought one and ever since i bought it has sounded like something is jiggling around inside. is that normal? how do i get it open?

Just wanted to say that after dropping one of mine and getting that annoying rattling inside, I finally worked up the nerve to try the opening it up solution suggested here and it was easy and now fixed. Take out the four exposed screws, pry the rubber off the two covered screws, then you have to take the screws off the side where the on/off/volume buttons are and carefully take that off. Then the top will lift off, exposing the broken battery bracket. Crazy glued and fixed. No more rattling!

does it plug in to a wall outlet?

Per the manufacturer, this speaker (OontZ Angle 3 ULTRA) requires DC (direct current) electricity feed rated for 5V and ~ 1.0A to 2.4A (max). So, you can use any compatible PC USB port or USB "wall charger" compliant with same. Note: This speaker includes a 6 foot charging cable that you will find at bottom of the box you receive (look underneath the cardboard insert that holds the speaker). For charging, simply use this (included) charging cable to connect the USB A plug (larger head/connector) to YOUR power source (e.g., PC USB port or USB wall charger) and the micro USB end (smaller USB plug/head) into the speaker power connection (located on speaker under the long rubber cover near "top" if speaker is standing vertical). FYI: 1. Speaker ships "partially charged" and should take < 1 hour to achieve full charge (you can use the speaker while charging). 2. Per manufacturer, it may require "up to 7 hours to fully charge a low battery". 3. RED light (on top of speaker if standing vertical) indicates following: a) solid RED light = full charge; slow flashing RED = charging; and fast flashing RED = low battery (less than 15% charge remaining).
