very good product. its perfect for the kindle. The light is just the right size, and the warm light does not strain your eyes. It has 4 settings of brightness although there is no need to use all 4 settings, the dimmest is perfect for me. The clip is strong and fits on the kindle without obscuring any of the screen. Being able to recharge is a bonus. I recommend this product to anyone who likes to lay in bed at night and read without disturbing there partner.

I bought this a few months ago for my partner so she doesn't keep me awake with the bedside light on to read her Kindle! It has been used almost every night since and has worked reliably lasting a couple of weeks between charges on minimum brightness setting, which is more than bright enough. The unit is very light weight and clips on nicely to the Kindle so it doesn't get in the way. The neck of the light bends (and stays in that position) so you can position it to suite. It also makes a good camping light for the tent. Very good value for money.

Bought this for a late night reading lamp for my office. could have spent more and got a plug in lamp but was really intrigued by this one as its much smaller. As expected, the light is much less than a mains light bulb, but this worked fine for me for a while. the battery life isn't so bad either, being a few hours which is good, but annoying if you forget to charge it. The light slowly dims down as the battery depletes, so that is a good indicator. I actually put mine into my little powerbank that can stand up on my desk and that made the use of this light much easier. I've had this light for a good while now, and recently installed a dimmer switch in my office which makes it kinda redundant for its intended purpose... But I will happily give 4 stars for this otherwise handy little lamp. Thanks

I love how they work and how slick they are. They are simple and light. Only thing is the battery life doesn't seem to last that long but they charge quickly and simply. I love how they can be charged via usb and don't need batteries. Would absolutely buy again. These produce a brilliant night light for my children. I think I'll be buying one for me too!

I am so hugely disappointed with this reading light. It is such a fantastic design and I loved it at first use. However, it just doesn't recharge. Lovely and bright on first use but light dimmed so I put it on to recharge and although it just about worked it was so dim I couldn't read by it. Tried recharging for longer but nothing helps. Since I am disabled, housebound and shielding I could not return it. Amazon fortunately refunded me but after discovering I was not alone in having these problems I used the refund to purchase a different reading light. Not as great design but far more reliable. Please don't just read a few great reviews and think it's going to be fine. Most of those great reviews don't mention their experience recharging it. So are likely to be written after first use.

Unfortunately for me, I found this didn’t charge and had to return for a refund. The light was bright and had differing brightness which would have been perfect had it charged once the battery died

I read both on my Kindle paperwhite and also hard copy 'real' books. The kindle has its own built in light, so no problem. Reading actual paper books when someone else is sleeping did present a problem. Solved by this little light! I have found that one charge will get me through a large book, around 550 pages. I am a fast reader, so this may not be the same for everyone. The light charges well and I am very happy with it. The fact that it bends is also very helpful. So all good. *UPDATE* 7th Jan 21. Suddenly the light won't charge any more, so I am unable to use it. I emailed the suppliers several days ago, but have yet to hear anything back from them. I can't currently recommend this reading light because of this lack of response from the suppliers.
