This trashcan is the perfect size for my home office, the perfect color, and so incredibly handy! I never thought that I would buy an automatic trashcan, but now I’m thinking I need a full sized one for the kitchen, because it is too convenient! My dog has already figured out he can open it by sticking his nose over the sensor, so I’ll have to make sure not to leave any chocolate in there – otherwise, I have no complaints. 😂 I went ahead and splurged on little pink trash bags as well, and I’m so glad I did! Every time I look at this trashcan I smile. It also showed up way earlier than it was supposed to - I just ordered it yesterday, and here it is! It takes two AA batteries that are very easy to put in, and they stay right where they are supposed to. I’m wondering if perhaps a redesign took place between some of the older reviews and now, because there is no possible way the batteries are falling out when I change the bag. It stays open as long as something is blocking the sensor, and closes about five seconds after whatever that is moves away. You can also open it and then turn the power off so it stays open. You can also turn the power off when it’s closed to keep things like dogs and cats from opening it, if you must. I will say that I cannot keep it under my desk, because the light reflecting off of the bottom of the desk makes it open, and it will not close. That’s okay though. All in all, I’m glad I made this purchase. I was using an actual basket for the longest time along with Dollar General bags, and such a small little upgrade has gone such a long way in my office. If you are like me and you spend upwards of 50 hours a week in your home office, just buy the cute trashcan. You deserve it.

so cute for my daughters bathroom! the automatic lid makes it so much easier to use and keeps the trash hidden. it’s a nice size for bathroom use. sturdy plastic material and easy to wipe off
