This stuff is amazing. Works to help reduce the mucus in my throat and post nasal drip. Intake 2 capsules 3 times a day with meals.

I heard about this from Dr Berg on youtube. He explained that heartburn can be cause from not enough acid as opposed to excess acid. This is because the esophageal sphincter closes automatically when it detects enough stomach acid, to protect the esophagus. When you have low stomach acid, the sphincter doesn't shut properly, which causes acid reflux. " Betaine HCl works by releasing hydrochloric acid (HCl) in the stomach, increasing stomach acidity to treat low stomach acid (hypochlorhydria). It assists digestion by breaking down protein, activating pepsin, and aiding in nutrient absorption (like B12 and iron). It is frequently used to alleviate bloating, heartburn, and gas by improving food breakdown". This has helped my symptoms tremendously.

I too dont have a gallbladder and never was informed I would have to supplement my biles and digestive enzymes after the lose of my organ. I have noticed a improvement in my stomach acids and not needing my rx Gerd medicine as much. Less stomach pains after eating proteins and oils and slowly added ox bile with this and have noticed my weight is shifting in a positive direction as well. The lower dose helps with starting out. I have tried and failed other higher doses of ox bile by itself and had horrible herd and stomach pains. This time I started with this for 2 wks and after improvements & no negatives to report I added Betaine hcl as recommended by another helpful reviewer for another wk, then added the ox bile low dose 125mg and BINGO! Perfect Tri-fecta 👌 effective but you must eat a little food and THEN take because if you take the ox bile at the end of your meal, it will bubble up. It only took one time to make that mistake and I didnt ever again. Now I have the support I need to break down the fatty meals, regulate proteins and has stopped the greasy stools. I no longer get the spasms of my liver either so I hope the fatty infiltration will in time be resolved as well. Great value for a healthy journey if you no longer have a gallbladder

Enzymedica’s Fasting Acting BETAINE is the best! I’ve tried a lot of digestive aids over the last ten years. These are great because one pill does the trick. It seems to always be just enough betaine to break down food in the stomach. AND, I very seldom has there been a time when it was too much betaine that it caused acid reflux. Love these!

This product works extremely well. It got rid of my reflux by quickly correcting my stomach's acid PH which should always be between 1 and 3 on the scale. I appreciate the reasonable price. It doesn't have a bad taste or smell at all. The ingredients are also natural and as far as I know based on the packaging GMO free. I will continue using this product.

If you’re using GLP-1 , Reta etc this is great to have on hand in case you take more than you’re ready for and your digestion slows down too much . This stuff will help you get back into a more comfortable digestion state .
