Mint Masala Chai

Easy and convenient to use. Great taste for all of them! But mint is one of my favorites. Happy I found these.

This tea is phenomenal. Reading reviews on Blue Lotus chai teas, it seemed as though this brand was a love it or hate it scenario. I bought the only flavor of chai that everyone agreed was delicious. If you have bought Blue Lotus chai teas before and thought that the pepper was overpowering, then I can guarantee that you won't find the same problem with this product. The mint blends perfectly with the cardamom and other spices, and the tea is perfect for any occasion. The tin comes with a mini wooden spoon to measure out the perfect amount of tea, but you'll probably have to fish it out of the tea powder. My guess is that when the tin was being transported, it was shaken around and the spoon fell to the bottom. After your first cup, you won't be able to resist another... Or about three in my case.

This instant chai is good, not the best I’ve ever had. It calls for 1/4 teaspoon, but I have to use 1/2 teaspoon. Maybe my mugs are too big. The flavor is good, dissolves well. I like the mint, I’m intrigued to try the other flavored chai.

The Blue Lotus Chai teas come in a very small container. If you use a small coffee cup, you will probably get 100 cups, however, because it only takes a bit of this spice to be VERY flavorful. Because I like huge coffee cups, I will get much less than that. I have been enjoying experimenting with the traditional version of this chai. I generally start out the same. About one rounded scoop of the chai spice to about 4 oz of water. I have actually been adding a bit more water than that. My reasoning is to conserve calories. The water and tea probably count as 0 calories. It is what I add that changes the amount of calories. I have been adding "sweeteners" and "milks." Sweeteners I've tried include agave, honey, and brown sugar. My husband is suggesting molasses and maple. For milks I've tried 1% milk, condensed milk (sweetened), and evaporated milk. I may try fat free milk, 2% milk, and cream. Each combination of sweetener and milk has changed the taste of the concoction. I just tried the mint version of this product. Whereas the traditional version is very spicy with pepper, the mint version still has a hint of pepper, but is a little bit less spicy. I like both!

I have this flavor and the traditional flavor. The mint is present but not overpowering. The mint mellows out the spice overall. This is good value for the price. I'm on keto and using this with a sugar free sweetened creamer is a luxury I can now enjoy!

I have purchased the Blue Lotus Mint Chai more times than I can count. I love the flavor and boldness, and especially that it's unsweetened and instant.

Great authentic Chai flavor with a touch of mint - lovely! This finely ground tea blend mixes easily with hot water and milk resulting in a fast economical chai tea. Great for traveling. The only problem was the packaging - the lid was taped closed with packaging tape that was very hard to remove and it damaged the exterior decoration on an otherwise beautiful tin. A shameful way to package a terrific product.

I knew this would be a gamble, and I lost on this one. The mint aftertaste isn't good. But It does have caffeine and I'll drink it when I've got nothing else. I'll stick to their traditional flavor.

Base chai flavour is good, mint freshness isn't overpowering. Definitely worth trying, lasts a while.
