Good gift for young girl.
My granddaughter loves Monster High and is to the age where she loves to read. This was a perfect gift for her. She is eight and is digging in, telling me all about the different characters. I like that I can talk to her about their situations, as in: why you like or dislike someone and what to do about things like that. I have not read them myself, but overall feel it is a good buy. Anything that gets them to read is good, the fact that it help you develop good behavior is a plus. Pros: Age appropriate. Nice set. Encourages reading. Cons: none

They're books.
The books are hard cover and its only eight dollars for all three. If you like Monster High there's no reason you shouldn’t buy these.
