MOMENTUM 4 Wireless Pride Edition

I have owned every version of the momentums, the original wired version, the on ears and over ears of the M2, as well as the momentum 3. The momentum 4s are the most drastic change to the line since they started. The first three versions had an amazing retro styling with stiched leather and metal and exposed wires. The 4s are a much more generic looking plastic construction. It is a bummer that they’ve abandoned the aesthetic. However in going this route, Sennheiser have made the most comfortable momentum by far and finally live up to what the word momentum evokes. I’ve never been able to stand long sessions with the old momentums, these finally solve that, they are so much lighter and vanish on your head. The clamping force is a bit tight out of the box but I’m hopeful that will loosen a bit over time. I could wear these for hours moving around anywhere and forget they’re on my head, it’s great. The battery life is insane, I’ve never experienced a device that’s lasted this long. The sound quality is the best of any wireless headphone I’ve owned. The ANC is ok, it will get the job done but it’s not industry leading. On a plus, if you buy a usb audio adapter that supports Aptx adaptive, you can use these as gaming headphones with very low latency. I’ve been using these as my headphones now with my PS5 and it’s amazing, they’ve become my favorite new gaming headset too.

it’s a really nice upgrade from my previous wireless Arctis 3. I am a musician too so i appreciate very nice quality sound. i dont use any type of noise cancellation since it gives me a headache so this review is about quality of sound and aesthetics. Beautiful set of headphones and lush and rich-sounding music !!

Garbage. Headphones keep cutting out in this plastic junk. Outdated features and design. I was a fanboy until I bought this junk. Quality, build quality, and function have dropped at Sennheiser. Also had a major problem with Sennheiser Momentum 2...didn't work even new from the box. Disappointing. Customer service hung up on me. Avoid at all costs.

I compared the best headphones on the market and ended up picking these and I am not disappointed at all. The price may be high but these are fantastic quality. The noise canceling is so nice, the sound is great and they are incredibly comforatble.

Overall nice headset 4/5 Comfort. I have a small head and it fits on the smallest setting, but it does clamp tight. 4/5 Sound quality. But I have yet to find a headset that sounds as clear as regular speakers do. I’ve been told it’s a different sound profile so maybe I’m wrong, but that’s just my opinion. 4/5 Directional sound. If you like immersive sound, the front and both sides are good, but you can’t tell much for behind you. If your primary use is for cinema, this might not be *that* big of a deal, but for gaming it’s not the best. 2.5/5 Audio while on discord call, specifically on Windows PC. I’ve had issues with this. If you want to keep it wireless, you will lose your sound quality AND directional audio. The sound gets deep fried and it’s really disappointing, but it works okay-ish. If you wire it and use a separate mic, you can set your mic input to the mic, then set the audio output to the headphones, you’ll be golden. This is obviously not specifically designed for gaming, so this is passable. The manual does say this was designed specifically for Apple products, so this makes sense. TLDR: I like it, but it’s got room for improvement in some areas!

I bought these headphones around Black Friday/Cyber Monday of 2024, so after 3 months, this is what I can say: As much as I want to love these headphones, I can't. I have so many connectivity issues - it took SO LONG to figure out how to get them to connect to my HP Victus laptop, and even though they did finally end up connecting, they randomly disconnect within 15-30 minutes. That happens with my desktop computer as well as our Nintendo Switch, so it's not a Windows 11 issue like I had originally thought. I'm updated on the most recent firmware, I've forgotten the device and reconnected the Bluetooth, all of that, and still, I cannot get these headphones to work properly.

I loved them! They are very comfortable and the sound quality is amazing for bluetooth headphones in my opinion. The ANC is disappointing. It doesn't do much at all, but I decided that they were still worth it for comfort and sound quality. The biggest complaint is the hinges creak. They didn't creak at first. It took a while and now I can't get a replacement pair for them.I got these on discount so I would have to get a refund and then buy another pair and this time pay more. I am going to try some dry lubricant or wd40 and see if I have any luck. I looked it up and this is a very common issue. If I am unable to fix I will be getting that refund. No matter how good they sound. You can't get lost in music if everytime you move there is a loud creak. I can't recommend these, maybe if you can get them at a low price.

I have been using the pxc550s for six years now and recently upgraded to the momentum 4e and they are wonderful. The noise cancellation and audio clarity and quality are both superb quality. Another great headset from Seinnheiser!

These Momentum 4s have been great. They work fantastically wired and wireless, the audio quality is comparable to some more expensive models I’ve used in the past, and overall I’m a fan. Bluetooth has been stable for me, pairing is painless, and the controls are easy enough to get used to. Comfort is good for longer sessions, and they isolate outside noise well enough for commuting or working without needing to crank the volume. Battery life has also been actually ridiculous so far.

Schnell geliefert und eine solide Verpackung. Vorab: Momentum 3 habe ich auch... -------> Momentum 4: ANC und Akku viel stärker und besser! Die Version: weiß Pride Edition gefällt mir gut und sie ist definitiv elegant und schick. Die Momentum 4 überzeugen mit sehr klarem, ausgewogenem Sound und kräftigem Bass, der sich per App gut anpassen lässt. Das adaptive Noise Cancelling funktioniert zuverlässig im Alltag, egal ob im Zug oder im Büro, und die Akkulaufzeit ist wirklich herausragend – man muss sie kaum aufladen. Auch der Tragekomfort ist über längere Zeit angenehm, das ist für mich der wichtigste Punkt von dieser Art Kopfhörer(...über Kopf)! Aber naja, das wusste man sowieso vorher vor der Bestellung. Zusammengefaltet nehmen die Kopfhörer doch immer etwas mehr Platz im Rucksack ein, vergleicht mit z.B. Airpods. Insgesamt aber ein hochwertiges Over-Ear-Headset für Musikliebhaber, die Wert auf Klang und lange Laufzeit legen.

Tal cual el producto, el envio a tiempo y super comodo y a lo que necesitaba. La cancelacion de ruido puede no ser al nivel de unos sony WH-1000XM5 pero es muy sutil y comodo. La calidad del material de los audifonos es bueno, no se siente de "plastico" barato. Literalmente dura las 60hr, y se carga en muy poco tiempo. En cuanto al sonido es de calidad, no soy un audiófilo pero si es bastante bueno especialmente con la app donde es muy personalizable.

Ich möchte aber auch die Welt aussperren, unterwegs - aber auch zuhause, weil ich so ein fürchterlich liebenswertes Exemplar von Nachbarn habe, der eine Bassrolle in seiner Bude stehen hat und sonntägliche Ruhzeiten für eine veraltete DDR Erfindung hält. Für unterwegs habe ich meine Airpods Pro und für daheim, dachte ich mir, probier ich mal die "Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless Over Ear Kopfhörer Adaptive Noise Cancellation Kabellos Headset Sound Musik Pride Edition" aus, die mir bei vine zu 249,90€ angeboten wurden. TLDR: Mittelklasse. Für das Geld kaufen würde ich sie nicht. Positiv: - der Sound ist ganz gut (aber nicht herausragend oder super), auch ohne jede Anpassung. Schliesslich haben sich Musiker beim Produzieren und Abmischen was gedacht, daher sollte der Sound auf "Flatline" (also ohne EQ) gut funktioieren. - Die Verarbeitung ist ohne Frage sehr gut - dabei ist ein Case, Kabel zum Laden und für Kabelverbindung, so wie auch ein Steckeradapter für getrennte Headset-Buchsen Negativ: - "Pride" beschränkt sich am Kopfhörer selbst wirklich auf die 6 kleinen Striche auf der Halterung der rechten Ohrmuschel - die Striche gibts auch nochmal auf dem Case - ansonsten ist alles schlohweiss (Pride Edition in weiß....schwierig) - öffnet man die Schachtel, schlägt einem sofort ein starker chemischer Geruch entgegen, der auch nach etlichen Tagen nicht weniger wird - ich hab recht kleine Ohren, trotzdem habe ich das Gefühl, diese haben in der Muschel keinen Platz, die Aussparung ist echt zu klein. So richtig OVER Ear sind die nicht. -Tragekomfort könnte deutlich besser sein - starker chemischer "Neu"geruch -Bedienung könnte einfacher sein -Oberseite des Bügels und Case sind mit weißem Stoff überzogen. Hallo Dreckmagnet! Kaum habe ich sie mit meinem iPhone verbunden: eh hier, App, willste? Also lade ich sie mal runter. Kaum offen: eh hier, neue Firmware für die Dinger! Installieren!!!! Okay, also auch das noch. Die Kopfhörer geben Info ab, zu Akkustand, an, aus, verbunden und so weiter, einiges davon wird gequasselt, kann man abschalten, auf nur Töne. Ständig habe ich den Akkustand zu hören bekommen, keine Ahnung, wie das ausgelöst wurde. Was interessieren mich noch 60% Rest? Erzähl mir bei 10%, dass ich aufladen soll, das reicht doch. Oder noch besser: zeig mir in deiner schnieken App ne große deutliche Zahl an, wär so simpel! Noch geiler wäre es, wenn die App ein Widget hätte, mit dem ich bestimmte Infos und Aktionen auf meinem Sperrbildschirm oder Homescreen hätte. Aber hey, wat stell ich für das Geld denn für Ansprüche. Die App kann ANC aus/anschalten bzw mittels Schiebereglers zwischen ANC und Transparenz angepasst werden. Okay, das ist ganz praktisch, selbst entscheiden, wieviel man hört. Das ist nice. Es gibt noch einen EQ aber sowas benutz ich eigentlich nicht. Die App sagt: du kannst mit zwei Geräten verbinden! Das is schön, aber ich kann nicht beide QUellen hören. Verbinde ich sie noch mit dem Apple TV - streiken alle lautgebenden Apps auf dem Telefon und machen nix. Neben dem Handy, auf dem wir uns befinden, wird mir ausserdem dort sofort "LENOVO" angezeigt zum Verbinden bzw als Gerät in der Liste - hier gibt es weit und breit keinen Lenovo in Reichweite. Wo kommt das her? (Box war versiegelt.) Nach nichtmal 10min habe ich aber das Gefühl, ich sitze unter einer Glocke und die zerdrückt mir langsam den Schädel. Unangenehm. Es gibt keinen Druckausgleich, die Kopfhörer drücken stark auf den Schädelknochen (könnte sich vielleicht ausleiern) und sie fühlen sich auch recht schwer an, obwohl sie es eigentlich gar nicht sind. Nicht angenehm. Die Transparenz wird übrigens mittels des Mikros künstlich erzeugt, da selbst die ausgeschalteten Kopfhörer bereits extrem dämpfen. Logisch, hier geht kein Fitzelchen Luft raus irgendwo. Die Bedienung, die per Touch auf der rechten Ohrmuschel aussen erfolgt, ist tricky. Ich bin verwöhnt von meinen Samsung Level On (mittlerweile 10 Jahre alt), da geht das ganz leicht. Zartes rauf und runter streichen für Lautstärke, kurzes tippen für Pause/Play. Bei den Sennheiser hier muss man schon drücken und fest streichen, damit sich was tut. Nicht sehr intuitiv. Ja, die Marke Sennheiser ist eine Institution. Aber: die Consumersparte wurde verkauft und hat nichts mehr mit der deutschen Firma und Herstellung zu tun. Tja, das hab ich dann jetzt auch mal nachgelesen. Also die gängigen Endkundenprodukte im Kopfhörerbereich stammen von einem anderen Hersteller, der die Marke uneingeschränkt nutzen darf. Beim Original hätte es glaub ich niemals diesen enormen chemischen Geruch gegeben. Das kann ja nur an irgendeinem verwendeten Material liegen, ich kann die Quelle aber nicht ausmachen, es riecht einfach komplett, Kopfhörer und Case. Höchstwahrscheinlich das Kunstleder der Ohrmuscheln und Kopfbügel. Bei dem Preis und dem Namen habe ich mehr erwartet. Der Sound ist zwar besser als bei den meisten 50-80€ Modellen, aber meiner Meinung nach nicht das, was ich von diesem Namen erwarten würde. Die Verarbeitung an sich ist prima, aber der Geruch stört mich wirklich enorm. Sie passen nicht auf größere Ohren und sie drücken wirklich sehr. Die Bedienung am Kopfhörer ist "schwergängig", die App halt immer ein "Extra" (meine Airpods kann ich logischerweise direkt in den Handyeinstellungen steuern) und trotzdem nicht wirklich viele nützliche Funktionen. Wäre das hier ein <100€ Kopfhörer, wäre die Qualität, Komfort, der Sound und die Features völlig in Ordnung. Für ein 250€ Exemplar mit dem Namen drauf ist das aber eher so untere Mittelklasse. Und damit leider doch recht enttäuschend. Und die Farbe weiß bei einer Pride Edition, die man so kaum erkennen kann - nicht ganz die optimale Wahl?! Der Sound ist nicht so beeindruckend, wie ich mir das gewünscht hätte. Da ich auch sehr viele verschiedene Songs in der Playlist habe, macht es auch keinen Sinn, den EQ zu nutzen, ich müßte ja ständig wieder verstellen. Immerhin gibt es Höhen, Tiefen und auch die Mitte klingt vernünftig. Dadurch, dass es aber den Druckausgleich nicht gibt, das Ohr also wirklich komplett abgeschirmt ist, kommt beim hören ein "dumpfes" Gefühl auf. Alles nicht so optimal. Schade :(
