This stuff is awesome!!! Super easy to use and hardens like a rock when completely set. I've read some reviews that this did not expand correctly - the trick is that when you are mixing the two parts to wait until you start to feel heat start to generate. Once you feel that (and it will be very obvious), that means the chemical reaction has begun. Immediately cut off a corner of the bag and start pouring. I used this to repair a 4x4 steel fence post that had rusted out at the bottom. I put a 2x2 steel post inside of it and then used the foam to set it in place. The 4x4 post is now rock solid. I still need to cut off the compound where it shows and then I am going to use another epoxy to cover this material and then paint it black. This is where I am at this point - I am now searching for more things to do with this material! I love this stuff!

I used the H.B. Fuller Fast 2K Post Anchor Mix to set a 6‑foot post for a retractable hose reel, and it worked exactly the way it’s supposed to. I followed the directions — all of them — and shockingly, that seems to be the secret sauce. After reading some of the one‑star reviews, I’m convinced a few folks either skipped the instructions or probably shouldn’t be trusted with products that expand, harden, or require more than one brain cell to operate. This stuff isn’t rocket science, but it does require you to do something other than guess. Mix, pour, hold the post steady, and let it do its thing. It expanded, locked in, and cured fast. The post is solid, the hose reel doesn’t wobble, and I didn’t have to haul 80‑pound bags of concrete like a medieval laborer. If you can read and follow simple steps, this product works great. If you can’t… well, your results may vary.

This stuff works extremely well. The H.B. Fuller Fast 2K Post Anchor Mix sets fast, expands properly, and locks posts in place like they’re never moving again. From a performance standpoint, it’s fantastic and does exactly what it promises. That said… be prepared. Once you start using it, there’s a very real chance you’ll be wearing it for the next month. If it touches your hands, clothes, tools, soul—congrats, it now belongs there. Gloves are not optional unless you enjoy explaining to people why your hands look like a DIY crime scene. Overall, it’s an outstanding product and incredibly effective. Just plan ahead, suit up properly, and accept that cleanup is more of a commitment than a task.

I was skeptical. I put my mailbox with a "drive-in" type post; however, it immediately began wobbling, even after I drove it deeper! The soil is loose and stony, so I wasn't sure anything would hold, cement had already failed. I saw this product and thought, why not give it a chance? Getting the plastic "divider" off was the most difficult part of the process! Nevertheless, I got it off and began mixing. The package began getting hot and expanding. After the prescribed mixing (30 seconds), I moved to the hole where I planned installing the new post and tore off a corner of the package. Surprise! The "foam" began spewing like a volcano! It got everywhere! My hair, arm, and all over the new post before I was able to direct it into the hole. I was able to finally direct the flow where it was supposed to go. I had just enough time to level the post before it began hardening. Within a couple of minutes the post was in and solid. I gave it overnight before shaking the new mailbox post, it is rock solid! I finally have a mailbox that is not wobbly. The "con" to this product is the price! The package says it replaces two bags of cement; however, two bags of cement is less than $10. The bottom line is that the product, although expensive, works. I am installing fence posts soon, but I doubt I'll be able to afford enough of this product for all of the posts.
