I have tried several pill crusher types in the past but this is by far the best I have used. I have to crush around half a dozen pills 3 times a day and 8 pills at night for the person I care for. Some of the pills are easy to crush with any pill crusher but a couple have a coating which is hard as a rock and very difficult to crush up but this device does it quickly and easily. We used to get liquid medications from the doctors but many of these are specially made and come from abroad and we find they are often unavailable since Brexit. I asked the doctor if I could crush up the pills into a fine powder then add a bit of boiling water to dissolve further and then add a bit of fruit juice to disguise the taste and she said yes I could. Now its easy to get the medications in pill form and we never run out of them. One bonus for the NHS is our doctor told us the liquid meds had to be custom made and cost the NHS over 20 times the price of the same medications in pill form so we win & so do the NHS. They pill crusher grinds to pills into a fine powder and is 100% reliable.

This does the job well and I would recommend it. Needs a 1 time adjustment of the wing nut to pull the ceramic crushing blades close but not touching. This will determine how fine the result will be. then drop in a pill and whizz the handle round several times. when there is no longer any resistance it is done. It is so easy to turn the handle it should be ok for people with hand or strength problems. Certainly easier than the plastic threaded presses that are common. For film coated tablets some film may stop on top of the crushing wheels and needs shaking out where you put the tablets in I shake it out after also to check the whole tablet has been crushed and none remains - if it does put in back in the crusher for more turns the result is a very fine powder almost like flour (dependent on how close you adjusted it) so this is great for peg feeding as it will suspend in water really well A few more minor points.... the handle is designed to be only used when crushing so you need a place to hang it so it doesn't get lost The chamber for collecting the pill powder is huge. It has a window up the side to see in. you would have to crush many many pills before the powder even reaches the bottom of the window.

So i bought this as i have a feeding tube and the old traditional pill crushers were tiresome on the hands, this pill mill makes crushing pills a breeze however there are cons and room for improvement. 1st point is that it is advised as great for crushing multiple pills at once.. this isn't advisable as some meds (most) cannot be mixed. That leads us to the second issue... 2. The actual chamber that holds the crushed pills is way to big for you to use the small window provided which means its harder to determine if your pill is crushed how you need. 3. The turn handle is handy i must say. It is what makes the whole thing more practical and easier to use than other pill crushers however what is not practical is the size of the turn handle and the fact that there is no alternative or a key provided should that handle be lost (since it is not connected) or by the very least something should keep it attached to the actual mill to make sure they dont get lost. I would make the chambers slimmer since multiple mixed pills are not advisable can be hazardous and adding a slight dent/spout/tip which would make transferring the pills to syringes and similar a lot easier with less spillage. Regardless i would recommend this to others if they had multiple of the same pill that needs crushing but would love an improved version.

I was really not impressed with this pill crusher I found it incredibly hard to use an even harder to clean. It did not push the tablets properly and I ended up sending it back for a refund.

After buying, using and cursing quite a few others, I have finally found a pill crusher that works. Not only does it work, it does the job with ease. I have spent pounds on other crushers, and every one of them failed in one way or another. I like this one because you can set the degree of fineness when crushing the tablets. It has a longish handle to turn so hardly any effort is required. I think that anyone with arthritis etc will find this pill crusher a breeze! Yes, I can honestly recommend this pill crusher!

Such a great product in comparison to the plastic pill crusher versions, got this for a family member whom has to have her medication now crushed, unfortunately after 3 weeks of use it has broke, gutted as it really did make a big difference to the time it takes to crush pills

This is brilliant for tough tablets. I have short bowel syndrome and malabsorbtion, so usually crunchy up my meds but some are really hard I originally bought a cheap plastic grinder but it was useless. This is so good - and so easy. Would highly recommend

I bought this because my dog has been prescribed vetpro digestion and anal gland granules and she wont eat the granules as they are so I needed a crusher that would crush the grains to powder. This pill crusher absolutely does the job with a bit of force it turns the granules into fine dust!! Absolutely wonderful!!

La verdad que hace su función muy bien, la utilizo para la suplementación de mi perra senior y he tenido otras marcas y otros tipos y esta es la que mejor se adecúa, es rápido y eficaz, si que es verdad que la diferencia de precios también se nota. Lo que hay que tener en cuenta es romper por la mitad la pastilla, eso si, pero una vez metes todas, las mueles y listo! es cómodo ya que toma 4-5 pastillas al día y aquí se muelen todas a la vez, se puede graduar el tamaño del grano/polvo por una ruedecita que tiene dentro. Der Tablettenmörser von Pill Mill ist einfach toll und einfach in der Bedienung. Man packt einfach die gewünschte Tablette/n in den Mörser, steck die Kurbel drauf und dreht und untem im Auffangbecher kommt die zerkleinerte Tablette/n raus. Man kann unten am Rädchen auch einstellen wie dolle die Tablette zerkleinert werden soll. Ich bin sehr begeister von dem Tablettenmörser, vorallem weil man einzelne oder mehrere Tabletten zerkleinern kann. Und das Reinigen geht auch ganz einfach.
