I was glad to see that this turmeric juice includes both turmeric and black pepper—since the pepper helps your body actually absorb the benefits of the turmeric. That’s the main reason we’re going to finish the bottle, probably by mixing it into smoothies. However, the product didn’t arrive in great shape. The outer box was dented and torn, and the bottle itself was also pretty beat up. The tamper seal looked intact, so we decided it was safe to try, but it didn’t leave a great first impression in terms of quality. I was expecting more of a drinkable juice, but this comes in a bottle with a little dosing cap on top—more like medicine than a wellness drink. The flavor is okay: basically like water with turmeric and a little black pepper. Not bad, but not pleasant either. We’ll use it up, but I wouldn’t repurchase. Between the packaging issues, the quasi-medicinal presentation, and the lackluster flavor, it doesn’t feel like a premium or particularly well-made product.
