Detangling Boar Bristle

WOW!!!! This boar bristle brush is FANTASTIC. I have been fighting with my frizzy, very thick hair. My hairdresser and I have been trying all kinds of hair care products but none of them can contain my hair especially when it is humid. So....she randomly said..."Why don't you get a boar bristle brush? Brush every night and let your natural sebum nourish your hair?". It seemed so simple a solution that I thought it couldn't be true. So we went to Amazon and we picked this brush as best for my hair....the longer plastic bristles help the brush get through my thick hair so the boar bristles can get to my scalp. OH MY GOODNESS!! It is so good at taming my hair that I can use it multiple times during a high humidity day and it will tame the frizz. I highly recommend this product and intend to also travel with it to help my hair while I'm on the road. NOTE: I did have one issue. The brush was supposed to come with a wooden comb and travel bag but neither of those things was in the box when it arrived. I didn't want to return the brush because it is so good. So....I sent a note to the vendor and got the NICEST and QUICKEST response EVER. She said that she would not only send me the missing items but she sent me a second brush!!!! Her resolution and quality of communication was unbelievable. I will buy more things from this seller based on the quality of their product and packaging as well as their customer service. BTW, the wooden comb also is wonderful as it doesn't create static when I use it. Those plastic combs just add to my problems. SO..............just buy this brush!!

amazing brush - my hair is shinny, smooth, silky looking. I just got it cut and straightened so I am looking forward to sharing with you how it performs when my hair is curly and in its natural state. But I can say that my style has lasted much longer with my new brush.

I was shopping for a new hairbrush because the basic store one I'd bought only 6 weeks before already had the rubberized coating peeling off the handle. I came across the Belula set for thick hair and I'm really pleased I decided to spend a bit more for it. I prefer to have as few hair tools as possible, but the wood comb turned out to be the detangling hair care step I didn't know I needed, and the soft nylon pins in the bamboo-handle brush really do help maximize the boar bristles' use. I'd tried using a boar bristle brush years ago and was frustrated because it seemed my hair is so thick that the bristles never even got anywhere near my scalp. This hairbrush gets the job done beautifully though, and my hair seems sleeker and less prone to flyaways after use. Both the comb and the hairbrush are well-designed, fitting comfortably in the hand, and they have an almost vintage natural aesthetic that I appreciate. This set includes a spa wrap (goes around the head to keep hair out of your face while you're lying around with cucumbers and a mud mask on your face, or something) and a nice fabric pouch to store everything in when you travel. I would give this set as a practical yet pretty present to someone. I believe I saw a question or reviewer comment about the odor from the hairbrush when it's first unpackaged. I checked when I opened the set, and the odor of rubber wasn't that strong to me. Maybe if it had been sitting outside on a hot day for hours, it would be stronger? Anyway, it is a natural rubber odor that went away pretty quickly, and it doesn't affect the performance of the hairbrush, so it doesn't seem to be a reason for concern.

Well-made brush. I have waist long hair that is extremely thick. This brush gets cleared down to my scalp and takes out tangles with ease. I love my brush. It is strong of good quality and detangler properly. One of the easiest brushes I’ve ever used to clean.

I have what would consider thin, fragile hair. I bought this brush because I had a very expensive one that was similar but was lost in luggage. I bought this as a temporary replacement and I got what I paid for. It made my hair feel oily even immediately after being dried. I had no tangle issues and the size was perfect from handle to bristles. The weight was the same and it looks like cleaning will be the same too. But the bristle quality was lacking and the spacing was too far apart compared to what I am used to. I kept this item and use it on my dog. She absolutely loves it. And I will say this much, it’s the best dog brush I’ve ever owned.

I originally bought the softy boar bristle brush and thought it was ok just too soft. So I bought this one also and the nylon bristles really feel good of the scalp with my thick long hair. It’s nice that it also has boar bristle that make my hair feel soft and silky. The real winner is the comb. It’s not anything unique but I just love how it feels on my scalp and that it’s wooden and now that I own two brushes I now own two combs incase one goes missing. I am happy with this brush Update: just washed my hair and using this brush on my wet hair is incredibly easy! Usually it’s a struggle. This is the best brush ever.
