Merrell Men's Speed Strike 2

There were no reviews when I purchased these, so I felt like it was a gamble. I purchased because 1.) These are the only reasonably priced Merrells I could find in a size 13 and 2.) They were sold and shipped by Amazon, so I was fairly certain they were authentic even though the listing had no reviews. I was initially looking at the Moab 3, but there are not many available in my size. So far they are extremely comfortable. The soles are obviously very grippy. They are well made and look great in my opinion. My boss keeps recommending Merrell as having excellent traction when walking on metal roofs, which is why I got these. We shall see. I'll update the review if my impressions change after some time. For now, however, I am impressed with the comfort and materials. I am sure they would be fantastic shoes for running, walking, hiking, or any outdoor activities.

My 9 men’s shoes fit perfectly on my feet. The support and stride are just what I need for road and trail walking. I may buy another pair while they’re in stock. Great product for the price. I recommend them.

Not a bad shoe at all. They seem to be well made. Good quality for that price range of shoe. Stylish. Durable. Lightweight. My only problem is the left side of my left foot felt like it was falling off the edge of the sole of the shoe. I felt like I always needed to scoop my foot over in the shoe. I thought maybe that was just this pair. But it happened to another pair of Merrell's I had. I don't know what the issue is since no other shoe I have does this or has ever done this. Just my Merrell shoes. Other than that it seems to be a great shoe. No they're not waterproof. The fit was good. And all around comfortable shoe for everyday use until I started feeling my issue.

I purchased these in August 2025 for a 2-week trip to Chefchaouen, Morocco. I planned onwalking/hiking at least 10 miles every day and wanted some tough, low-rise shoes that would not be hot. 13 months later, these shoes have been marvelous. I have probably put 700+ miles on them during that time, wearing them most every day. They have been used on daily walks, in bogs, creeks, trails, cobblestone streets and used for all manner of work. They are finally showing signs of wear on the bottom and I will replace them with another identical pair as soon as I get home from a 2-month, 12,000 mile road trip to Manitoba. I originally paid $95.00, so about $0.15/per mile...a bargain...

Excellent light weight hiking shoe. Perfect for day hikes on trails. Good value.

The best

I have hammer toes and bone spurs. These shoes have plenty of toe room. Cushioning is just right, not too much that make shoes unstable. Best feeling shoes I have ever worn!!!

The insole/sockliner is way too narrow and slides around under my feet. Otherwise, would be a great shoe. I swapped out the insole with an older pair of eco speeds to make them wearable.

El producto es muy bueno, me quedo algo apretado, razón por lo cua lo devolví, sin embargo el proceso del reembolso es al tardado y yo necesito comprar otro calzado pero aún no me hacen la devolución aun y cuando ya recibieron el calzado intacto, tal y como los recibí, pero no entiendo porque se tardan en hacer la devolución, han estado recorriendo fechas y ahora aparece que hay un error en la devolución, es una mala experiencia lo tardado que es recuperar el dinero, espero que ya no demore más.
