Is the backing of the paper branded or blank?

I apologize. I saw Nancy's answer after responding the first time and noticed I was answering for the wrong type of paper. The value paper IS blank. The premium, of which I have both, is not.

Does this work with photosmart A616 printers?

All I did was Google it and I'd say yes, it will work.

What kind of ink does it use

No special ink is required - just use whatever ink your inkjet printer uses.

Is this paper acid free?

It doesn't say it's acid free, so I'd assume it's not

Good quality and good value! Purchased for my xp-980 printer. I wasn’t sure if I placed the glossy side face up or down but after testing, the glossy side is face down in cassette 1. The photos came out better than I’d get from printing at Walmart or cvs!

Good deal for 'utility' prints. Not really sure how much better the 'premium' sheets are. Great print quality pictures from an average home printer (Epson 820 series). Zero defects and all sheets are useable - Remember to load the Shiny down in the tray!
