Transformers Vol. 1: Robots in Disguise

I thought this was a great re-telling of the G1 universe earth arc. The art is impeccable. Would make a great Netflix series as long as they don’t skimp out on production costs

手軽に読めてとても面白いです。 翻訳しながらの読書は初めてだったが、一つ一つのコマを丁寧に読み進めることができ、より物語に没入できます。 文字量もそこまで多くはなく気軽に楽しめました。 ただ、私は子供向けの日本語版アニメしか見ていなかった為、残虐なシーンが多く驚きました。ギャグシーン等でマイルドになる作風ではなく、序盤からずっと暗く、終盤も辛いシーンばかりでした。 しかし、トランスフォーマー達が戦闘する描写は素晴らしく、陰鬱な雰囲気を払拭するほど迫力があります。 ぜひ興味がある方は読んでみて欲しいです。

カッコよい表紙が気になって購入。個人的には当たりでした。ただ２巻がAmazon本体が長く調達延期を繰り返したあげくキャンセルとなってしまい、楽天ブックスで購入しました。最近Amazon本体のアメコミ販売、予約かける割にキャンセル多いので続巻あるものを売るならきちんとして欲しいと思います。

The book is great and details are just exactly the same as I expected to receive. Although it cost some time, since there is a long distance. It isn’t such an unacceptable thing, good job.

This is the first transformers comic that I have read since the 80's and the story is well written and draws the reader into the universe.

... à un univers qui m'était totalement inconnu. Des scènes d'action spectaculaires très bien illustrées guidées par un scénario simple et ultra rythmé. Seul défaut, tout va si vite que cela en devient à la limite confus notamment au jeu du qui est qui et du qui veut quoi. Une deuxième lecture n'est d'ailleurs vraiment pas inutile. Au final, il en ressort une belle histoire qui, si elle est dominée par l'action et l'héroïsme, n'en demeure pas moins touchante de par les relations entre humains et robots. Un très bon premier volume qui appelle la lecture du suivant.

Fantastic storytelling and artwork! Highly recommended for any fan

The detail is amazing and is very well fit in the panels. It has a different look from the G1 series perspective, but has that original style look from the series. As someone whose childhood has been Transformers (and I’m only 11) this was a very fun experience. The book was overall, an interesting read that brought together the simple elements of G1, combined it with the details the author gave and created a master piece. Kinda sad about Bumblebee’s death :( . But still beautiful book,
