I ordered two of these plug sockets and the accompanying light switch, to say I was disappointed is an understatement. I think they look great, just wished they worked great too. As you can see by the video, this plug socket would randomly switch on and off without any input. This made it useless. This is the reason I have sent all purchases back. Another thing to be aware of are the dimensions, as I was required to buy spacers as the back of the switch would not fit in the back box. You are also unable to connect smart bulbs, due to the light switch turning off when you are trying to connect.

The socked was very very fiddly to get 2* 4mm cables in when fitting these sockets into my new kitchen, took lots of aligning and squeezing to make the cable fit.. One thing that did help if you have the spare wire is to trim off any existing exposed wire to the plastic cover, strip back and use the newly exposed straighter piece of wire. Also just turning a larger possidrive - screwdriver in the plastic terminal connection hole to widen slightly helped. The sockets look amazing once but take alot of perseverance to get them right if you are DIYing

Very good sockets. 👍 as a side note these need to be fitted to a near perfect wall for the cover to clip over. Any gaps around the socket and uneven walls will give you problems when fitting the cover.

I purchased these to replace some similar I-lumoS switches, which didn’t look as sleek/discreet as I had hoped. These switches hit the spot perfectly. So much so, I purchased four more for the bedrooms (with the all important USB ports for overnight phone charging of course).

I bought 3 of these sockets for my new kitchen which were professionally installed. Out of 3, 1 had one of the double-sockets which kept on intermittently switching itself on/off every 4-5 seconds. So I had that replaced. After 4 weeks the second of the 3 sockets stopped working, it just doesn’t want to switch on any longer, so that one too is now being returned for a replacement. I am upset that such an expensive product could be of such poor quality. Replacing them also costs labour/time and if I do it myself it doesn’t look just as perfect: the fitters use some white sealant which makes it look amazing. I wish there was a similar white glass socket made by a different company.
