Slightly bigger in diameter than standard
They are Slightly bigger in diameter than standard so definitely need to use hot water to soften the pipe. On the plus side the bore is slightly bigger too, so there's less restriction to water flow which helps if you have lots fitted.

decent enough product but as many have said bigger than 4/7 mm. even with hot water and a lot of brute force difficult to connect to hose

DON'T FIT 4MM PIPE!
!BEWARE! Ordered these to extend a 4mm Claber micro irrigation system. These DO NOT fit the 4mm pipe!! They are Closer to 7mm. If you heat the end of the pipe with a lighter they will just about push on but its still very hard as the pipe gets sticky.
