I love this umbrella. Provides great shade at the beach or the park.

This chair umbrella became junk before the very first use. I hooked it to the chair, a very small wind tipped it over and within 2 seconds, I stood it back up and it was already destroyed. Its very flimsy and made from the thinnest cheapest materials. You'll be ok as long as you are not in any wind. Even the slightest breeze will invert the umbrella. The problem is...what beach you are going to that has no slight wind? It comes with instructions on what wind level is too high. That's a joke! Wind speed at the beach changes without warning. So those instructions are useless. The solution is to make the thing thicker flexible material, not the thinnest flimsiest aluminum on earth. It was a waste of money for me.

It technically works but if you're somewhere with any amount of wind it'll turn inside out and break. I've fixed it twice now and that's how many times I used it. A light breeze will knock the arm down and fold the umbrella inside out.

My husband had a stroke some years ago, but he loved to be outside but he couldn't be out in the sun this umbrella really helped it's a little big but it did fit perfectly on his wheelchair. So I have to give it a five-star

I clamp this to a mic stand to shield audio visual equipment from the sun. Flexible positioning so you can make small changes throughout the day. I love the teeth in the joints, so the arm will hold steady.

On my Jon boat going 3mph and with a very light wind it simply broke apart in 15 minutes. The rod snapped, the umbrella inverted with damage, and the tighteners couldn't hold parts in place. Then, with the rod now broken, I couldn't retract the umbrella. They advertise this as a beach umbrella and there is no way this would hold up with beach breezes.
