Are the insoles removable?

The insoles are attached at the heel only but could easily be removed. I remove them and use orthopedic inserts for plantar fasciitis.

I have worn them in the rain and my feet stayed dry. I don't know if they are "waterproof"per se, but I've played a couple of times in the rain and my feet stayed dry.

If you've ever owned vinyl shoes (i have) you'd know exactly what it means, "do they breathe?"

I have owned vinyl shoes and I would say that these are no different. Still, they are pretty comfortable to walk 18 on a par 3. Once I break them in, it’ll be perfect for me a once a month hack.

How to clean these shoes?

I generally use a soft brush with some soapy water. Use the same brush with clean water and dry them with a towel.
