Not having black licorice was the only saving grace to this candy. Candy was not fresh, hard with little taste.

Are these 16.99 for 5 lbs or for 1 lb? Unit count says 16 oz (1 lb) and price per oz says $1.06 (equals $16.99 for one pound).

I got 2 lbs./ $10.99 on my order, so I'd assume 5/$16.99 is correct. But it's still a high price for that candy. You have to realize Amazon can be as incompetent as my landlord's operation.
