I think it needs to be thicker string. I love it for my child overall. Only complaint is about the buttons, they are not sewn in...they fall out often.

Beautiful, perfect fit, but missing the pants
The kurta is beautiful, the deep purple looks like it was hand dyed, which I love! It fit my son perfectly, and he loves the way it feels, which is hard to accomplish! Unfortunately, the set was missing the pajama pants, so I had to order a replacement. I haven't seen any other reviews mentioning this, so I think it's a one-off situation. The replacement will get here before our event, so I'll update my review then.
