Am i supposed to put this media and put filter pad on top of this or on the bottom of this media? help! i got 5 media and i think i doing this wrong

well I believe this filter flows from bottom to the top, so you would normally put your carbon bag and coarse filter pad on the bottom tray. The middle tray can be for the filter floss pad and biomedia ceramic rings, and the top just the filter floss (possibly more ceramic rings if needed. You can find more info if you search in youtube. I have 125 gallon tank with 1 lg, & 2 medium fish, along with lg pleco. It’s a fairly new tank w/cloudy water. Should I change just this media often?

I had four turtles in a 40 gallon tank. I cleaned the filter once a month and changed the filters out every two to three months. 125 is quite a bit bigger so you may have to change it out more often.
