Worked great. No programming required.
The only things "off" were the color of the glowing buttons and the weight. Its lighter than the remote that came with my tv so I exerted a bit more effort to pick it up (like if you were to grab a milk carton you thought was full only to find it was mostly empty). But those aren't minuses. Just little things to get used to. Its a 5/5 for me because it arrived quickly, worked right out of the box, and didn't require any programming.

Exactly what I needed
I was told that remote after remote would work for my fire TV (I bought an open-box w/o a remote), and had nearly given up on finding one after even the insignia site did not have one available. This remote listed the correct model number and saved me from a useless smart TV. Came quickly and in packaging that protected too, thank you very much!
