It's really sturdy, I like it a lot!
Building it was a great time, the instructions are very straightforward, I really appreciate how each part is numbered so you know exactly where they go. They also provide all of the tools for each step of the instructions, which I really loved about this. My biggest fear when shopping for one of these was putting it together, but they made it really easy. The whole build took my dad and I roughly two nights after work to complete, which is great for a giant home workout machine! I posted a video with a small close up of it, I think it's incredibly sturdy and well built. Specific things I like about it: - I really like the safety features of the bar, I feel very safe pushing my max weight knowing there's a guard there to watch out for me. - The pulleys are great for doing all sorts of exercises, just having those alone with the customizable height means I can do tons of workouts with just those. - The pull-up bar has several different ways you can grip it which is helps work different parts of your back - There are hooks to hang your stuff on and several plate holders, giving the machine an incredibly compact look, I love how little space it takes up for an entire gym in one! After using it for several weeks my verdict is that I'm very happy I canceled my gym membership for this! Before we got this I went to the gym several nights a week, I always hated having to actually drive somewhere to go workout and was looking for something like this. I did the math on this versus my gym membership and not only am I saving a half hour each day in driving alone, but this thing is gonna pay itself off in only a few years! Serious bang for your buck here for people who work 40 hours a week and want to workout afterwards without losing all of their free time. You can choose when to workout, how you want to do it, and you don't even have to drive home afterwards you can get right in the shower! Notes: Don't mind the clutter, were still renovating the basement. Also in my video I outfitted it with some of my workout gear already so ignore the pad on the bar and the red clips on the ends of the bar. Though I highly recommend them to those who lift weights :)

Amazing home gym.
I recently purchased the Mikolo M4 Smith Machine for my home gym, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. This equipment has exceeded my expectations in every way, making it an absolute essential for anyone serious about their fitness journey. First and foremost, the build quality of the Mikolo M4 Smith Machine is outstanding. The sturdy steel construction ensures durability and stability, allowing for intense workouts without any wobbling or safety concerns. The attention to detail is evident in every aspect of this machine, from the smooth movements of the bar to the solid feel of the weight plates. The versatility of the Mikolo M4 is another standout feature. With its multifunctional design, I can perform a wide range of exercises to target different muscle groups effectively. Whether it's squats, bench presses, lunges, or shoulder presses, this machine offers endless possibilities for a full-body workout. The adjustable height settings and safety catches make it suitable for users of all fitness levels, providing peace of mind during intense training sessions. One aspect that sets the Mikolo M4 Smith Machine apart is its smooth and efficient Smith bar system. The bar glides effortlessly along the guide rods, allowing for precise and controlled movements. I particularly appreciate the counterweight system, which reduces the overall resistance during exercises and enhances the feeling of safety and control. Furthermore, the Mikolo M4 Smith Machine includes various attachments and accessories, such as a pull-up bar and cable pulley system, expanding the exercise options even further. The pulleys are smooth and provide consistent resistance, making it easy to target specific muscles and achieve a well-rounded workout. Lastly, I must commend Mikolo's customer service. From the moment I placed my order until the machine was delivered, the communication and support were exceptional. The packaging was sturdy and ensured that all components arrived in perfect condition. In conclusion, the Mikolo M4 Smith Machine is an outstanding addition to any home gym. Its robust construction, versatility, and smooth operation make it a worthwhile investment for fitness enthusiasts of all levels. I highly recommend this equipment to anyone looking to take their workouts to the next level.

Sturdy, good quality, lots of options
I had been looking for one of these for a while and I finally decided to pull the trigger on it over prime day. The product was surprisingly well packaged (came in 4 boxes) and nothing was damaged. It conveniently has the hardware broken down by each step. I was missing steps 4-5, but I had an extra step 11 so I was still able to assemble it. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU HAVE SOMEONE HELP YOU ASSEMBLE IT. It took me and a friend a little over 5 hours to assemble it. I don't feel like that is an unreasonable amount of time, it'd probably go faster if you pre-sort stuff when you take it out of the boxes. As for the features, it has everything we were looking for. I looked at all the other options on amazon and this one had better features than any other in the price range. I like that the cables are separate systems, my wife and I can do our workouts without having to change out all the weights between sets. I often work out alone so the smith system is awesome. The landmine is super useful, as is adjusting the heights of the pulleys, as well as all the attachments you can put on depending on what workouts you're doing. The only things I bought separately were a few cable handles, a back brace, bigger carabiners, and clamps. You don't need all those but I thought they were nice additions and with this equipment being cheaper than competitors you'll have some extra cash to buy more accessories. Also, customer support is very responsive so if you have any questions or need help they've got you covered!

Great home gym!
I use 6 days a week and this gym is amazing! Setup after all boxes arrived took about half a day with just me. Assembly was uneventful and all parts matched the instructions. I have found additional accessories since the purchase that have even further enhanced my experience such as hanging leg raise bands and additional hardware for the cables. I do wish this came with an extra set of weight stickers for the cable weights. I put the stickers on the inside and end up placing the pin on the outside just as much as the inside (I used silver sharpie and wrote the lbs on the other side). This is probably a none-issue for most but just a polish. I did need to re-tighten some screws after 2 months from vibration so best to maintain it regularly. I am overall extremely happy with this purchase and love my garage gym!

Highly Recommend
After spending a couple of weeks reviewing various machines, I ordered the M4 2.0 with weight stacks and plates. Took about a week for all of the boxes to arrive and 3 evenings after work to assemble it. Roughly 8 to 10 total hours. Biggest challenge is locating the pieces to this puzzle when parts are cattered in different boxes. As you progress and start breaking down boxes, it gets easier. This machine is a great value for what you get. Sturdy, stable and smooth operation. I'm thoroughly satisfied with this product and glad I got the unit with both the weight stacks and plates for the versatility in training. Customer Service was 100% satisfactory. I messed up the cable routing on one side, inadvertently running the cable underneath instead of over the top channel and it quickly chafed the cover at first use. I notified Customer Service, acknowledging my mistake and asked where I could buy a new cable. They sent me one under warranty at no charge. Be patient when getting replacement parts as I believe they may come from overseas. It took a while to get here but I do have it and my machine is fully functional.

M4 2.0 wins over Drone 2
I originally bought Major Fitness' Drone 2, but there were issues with the product and I ended up having to disassemble and box the thing back up to return. Giant pain. Then I ordered this one, the Mikolo m4 2.0 (elite package I think?) Night and day difference. The Drone 2 assembly process was like putting together something designed by aliens. Yes it worked, but the human wasn't considered. The Mikolo on the other hand was simply designed more thoughtfully. The uprights attach to a tongue on top of the base bars. On the Drone you had to bolt from under the base bars into the uprights. The pull up bar also had lips on the outside to help keep it in place hands-free while I bolted it in. Little things, but important because it shows forethought and care. The 2:1 ratio of the pulleys is actually the way to go if this is your first all-in-one with a functional trainer. The Drone is 1:1 which is great for lat pulldowns, rows, leg work - but terrible for delts, triceps, biceps. Yes, you'll likely run into limitations with how much weight you can feasibly load up to do lat pulldowns and rows, but I'd rather have that problem than the problem of even the lightest weight being too heavy to use. The plunger-type adjustment for the pulleys is also much nicer than the one on the Drone 2. The steel plates are great and feel smoother, in fact the entire pulley system feels smoother on the Mikolo but I'm not sure if that's in my head or real. The attachments are generally much nicer on the Mikolo. The pull-down and the straight bar are pretty close to the same quality, but the angled bars are much nicer, the rope is better, the handles are much better, the ankle straps (although I won't need them) are much nicer, and the j-hooks and the safeties are much more sturdy. I can't comment on the difference in the smith bars, as I wasn't able to properly install the Drone smith. MF has it set up where you have to assemble the smith bar by fitting a set of bearings into place, but no matter how much I beat the thing with a rubber hammer, it just wouldn't fit. The Mikolo is sent as one piece, so I could actually get it installed. It moves pretty smoothly, although it's a little noisy but not terribly so. They have a very odd long bolt for install that needs a rubber cover so it doesn't poke your hands at the widest ends, which is an odd choice but my hands will likely never be out there so it doesn't matter all that much. The bumper plates are fine. The adjustable bench is alright. It's a little better than the MF adjustable bench, but not by miles. The Mikolo bench uses a more resilient foam than the MF bench, so it doesn't crush. It feels sturdy enough, but it also doesn't instill endless confidence in supporting heavier incline bench sets. Overall, it's a decent system. If you can get it for around the same price as the Drone 2 I'd go m4 2.0 all day every day. Just don't expect everything to be the same quality you're used to if you normally go to a commercial gym. It will get the job done, and for the price it's well constructed. To get a Rogue or a Rep system with the same features and that heavy duty feel will cost multiple thousands more. It's pretty good for what it is.

Incredible Value!
I'm so glad I came across this in my search for setting up a home gym. It is very sturdy and has a huge amount of exercises you can do with it. Front to back it is very rigid but it does move a bit side to side if you try. The only real negatives I have to say is that it is packaged in a way that it will get banged up a bit in shipping, and certain areas will have metal on (finished) metal contact so they will wear over time. At the time I got this, it seemed by far the best value for the capabilities it offers and I'm really glad I went for it! If you are lifting extremely heavy I would find something built a bit stronger with heavier gauge steel, but for any beginners or anyone who doesn't expect to ever load it to a point where you feel concerned then I think this is a no brainer! I also like how this would be relatively easy to take apart if you needed to move it - especially if you can keep the sides intact and just remove the cross pieces. In my garage, I'm able to get it to fit nicely under the garage door with a bit of clearance. (but not much!)

Practical workout rig
I shopped around for a while for a functional trainer and somewhat impulse bought this unit during Amazon Prime week. It was 100s cheaper than the equipment I was looking at, so I pulled the trigger since it seemed to check all my boxes. I installed it by myself over the course of a few nights after the kids went to bed. It was a little frustrating only because I was by myself. It was helpful to use ratcheting tow straps to help align some of the upright pieces. I think if you have a partner it wouldn’t be required. The functionality of the equipment is awesome. I can knock out full workouts in 30-40 minutes and really focus on progressive overload. Since I know I won’t have to wait for equipment or settle for different exercises at a gym I’ve seen solid gains in all of my lifts. If I had the extra money I would have splurged for the unit with weights included for an even faster and more seem less workout flow, but this setup works fine and builds in some rest. I would buy it again and I would recommend to someone looking to get away from a gym membership who has space to park this equipment.
