A Thrilling Epic of Superhero Excellence
Invincible Compendium Vol. 3 continues the exhilarating journey of Mark Grayson, also known as Invincible, in a breathtaking fashion. This volume encompasses some of the most gripping and emotionally charged storylines in the Invincible series, leaving readers on the edge of their seats from start to finish. One of the standout aspects of this compendium is the exceptional storytelling by writer Robert Kirkman. The narrative is richly layered, blending intense superhero action with deep character development. Kirkman seamlessly weaves together complex plotlines that explore family dynamics, personal struggles, and the consequences of being a hero. The pacing is masterful, striking a perfect balance between heart-pounding action sequences and poignant moments of reflection. The artwork by Ryan Ottley and the rest of the art team is nothing short of extraordinary. Each panel bursts with life, showcasing dynamic fight scenes, vivid expressions, and meticulous attention to detail. The sheer power behind every punch and explosion is palpable, immersing readers in the intensity of Invincible's world. The artwork elevates the storytelling, capturing both the grandeur and the emotional depth of the narrative with finesse. Vol. 3 introduces new challenges and adversaries for Invincible, pushing him to his limits both physically and emotionally. The character development is superb as we witness Mark's growth, grappling with the weight of his responsibilities and the consequences of his actions. The supporting cast also shines, with each character given their moment to shine and contribute to the overall narrative. What sets Invincible apart is its ability to embrace the traditional superhero tropes while subverting expectations and delving into thought-provoking themes. This compendium delves into the complexities of heroism, morality, and sacrifice, challenging readers to question what it truly means to be a hero. Invincible Compendium Vol. 3 is an absolute triumph that will leave fans craving more. It's a testament to Kirkman's storytelling prowess, Ottley's exceptional artwork, and the entire creative team's dedication to crafting a superhero epic that stands among the very best. Whether you're a long-time fan or new to the series, this volume is an absolute must-read for anyone who craves thrilling, emotionally charged storytelling that pushes the boundaries of the superhero genre.

Even better than the show
I bought this because I watch the series and like it a lot, and I really wanted to know what happens next. After getting into the comic, I ended up enjoying it even more. Reading it gave me that same feeling from when I was a kid getting lost in comics, but now with the bonus of finally finding out everything. If you already like the show, this is absolutely worth picking up.

A human story, as most good scifi
This is in the same category of endings as breaking bad: a chill and deserved finale to a wild ride. During the reading of this, I thought of giving this a 4 star because of the SPOILER SPOILER rape storyline, which I thought was, at best, fine. But with time it got better and resolved in a nice way too. Aside from all the blood and gore (and the added drama of the end of a saga), the book is still FUN like only a comic book can be. I also liked how the character's stances change depending on time and context, and how they take time to reflect on that. I like to be made to think, even if the "moral of the story" is not so clear. It is messy stuff, just like our lives, which makes this mostly sci-fi book into an ironically human read.

Quality
Quality of the package wasn't great, it was highly protected even though it came a bit bent and the book contained a lot of smudges

10/10 enjoyed this series from the moment I picked it up. Itโs going to be hard to find something that will fill this hole.
