子どもがバービーの妖精と人魚が欲しいというので、1体2役のこちらを選びました。 バービーらしいハッキリした顔が子どもにとっては怖いらしいですが、たまに遊んでくれています。 他のバービーが履いていた靴を履かせようとしたのですが、ヒール用の足になっているようで、うまく入らない靴があります。あと、バービーのヘアが少し雑な印象です。毛先が段々にバッツリ切られています。 ただ、小物も可愛くて、ごっこ遊びもバリエーションが広がると思います。

孫のリクエストで誕生日プレゼントに購入しました。とっても喜んでくれました。

Doll came with much shorter hair like it was cut and the hair kept falling off over and over again

I bought this doll with the Odile head sculpt, intending to rebody her. But for play purposes, she's a great find (at around $10) for a child or adult collector who appreciates joyful use of color and style in a budget doll. Her long straight center-part pink fantasy hair is soft and nice quality (possibly mid-grade Saran?), and her face sculpt (Odile) is highly appreciated by adult collectors, so she may become difficult to find over time. The mermaid body is stiff with articulation at the neck, shoulders, and hips. The tail snaps in but is not articulated. The tail portion is painted in a lovely orange shade, and the molded-on top has nice painted detailing. Doll comes with an aqua starfish headband that is pretty cute and can be used to style other dolls with a bit of whimsy.
