Directions 1. Open the drip coffee maker and place a coffee filter in the filter basket. 2. Measure the desired amount of Maxwell House Smooth Bold Ground Coffee (approximately 1 tablespoon per 6 fluid ounces of water) and add it to the filter. 3. Fill the drip coffee maker's water reservoir with the appropriate amount of fresh, cold water. 4. Close the lid and select your desired brew strength. 5. It is smooth and rich. Really nice coffee. I drink it black. Brew mine in a stainless steel reusable k cup. Way better quality than standard pods. Great way to save money. I am likely to buy this stuff again

First let me say I love coffee, cannot live without it and cannot function without that first morning brew to get me going. I remember drinking coffee beginning in college some 30-odd years ago. There were 3 main popular coffee companies back then and Maxwell House was one of them that I drank the most. After several year, well really a couple decades, this did not taste the same; it seemed very acidic so I stopped drinking it due to heartburn. Then when I was recently shopping for more coffee on Amazon I noticed this Maxwell House blend and took a chance and I am happy to report that it was worth the purchase because it is rally smooth and bold but not so bold as to taste acidic or bitter. The taste is delicious. I drink my coffee with a moderate amount of half and half cream and it tastes so good but I did drink a few sips of it black right after it brewed and I found it was not acidic or bitter drinking it black but I just prefer cream, no sugar. Additionally note that I use a traditional coffee brewer and one that uses those little coffee pod cups, this is ground coffee in a plastic container for brewing coffee in an traditional automatic drip machine (5 cup capacity) Like I said this blend of Maxwell House Smooth and Bold Dark Roast tastes great.

This is definitely my new favorite coffee and it is just as the name describes...it is bold but ever so smooth and without the bitterness that some stronger coffees tend to have. I've been drinking the Maxwell House brand for years and have tried many flavors but only just discovered this one and I LOVE it...great value and simply delicious!
