This is the best fan I have ever owned. It is very, very quiet so you can watch TV without having to turn up the volume. As for using it for sleeping, it is great - so quiet you can't tell that it is there, apart from the wonderful cooling breeze it generates. Being able to time it for anything up to 12 hours is also a great idea. I don't know why people are saying the pedestal isn't tall enough - It is the perfect height when sitting on a sofa, and also perfect for directing the flow over the bed. The fan has a great range, even on lower settings, you can still feel it some distance away. I love the way it oscillates all around as well as having the option for side to side or up and down. It is a little heavy when carrying it upstairs, but there has to be some weight to stop it toppling over. The only downside is the app - I got it to work straight away, BUT it took over from the manual controls and then the app lost the fan so I had to delete it to be able to control the fan again manually. To my mind, the "smart" function is just a gimmick as it comes with a remote anyway, so I don't see the need for controlling it with an app (which doesn't work properly anyway). I bought one from Amazon warehouse, and unfortunately they had forgotten to pack the remote with it, but I was given enough of a refund to be able to purchase the remote directly from the manufacturer, so that wasn't a big problem. As I am not bothered about the "smart" function not working, I chose not to delete any stars for this. The other slight downside is the power pack isn't included with this model to allow you to charge the fan and then use it on battery power. I don't need this facility as I have the power sockets in the appropriate areas that I need the fan, but if you wanted to buy the power pack as an add-on it would cost you in the region of £60, and that is if they have it in stock at the manufacturers for this particular model. You can buy a different model that has the battery pack as standard, but the price goes up a lot. It depends on whether the portability of wireless use is important to you.

This fan is fantastic. The highest setting is incredible given how quiet it is, the lowest setting is so quiet you could have it right next to you at night and it wouldn't bother you in the slightest. The oscillation doesn't add any noise either. The natural wind mode is really subtle but noticeable. The remote is great, Google assistant integration is ok, you can turn it on and off via voice command and adjust the speed but can't turn oscillation on or off. The quality of the construction is very good and feels premium. The packaging was incredibly well done and is good enough to gift. Within an hour of it arriving I bought one for my parents and another for my office. The only negative is the control on the unit. It is well made and looks great but the mechanism inside does not FEEL very good for a more premium product. If anyone from duux reads this, it should either be a smooth rotation with a little resistance and no clicks, or it should have very very quiet clicks like a good ratchet. Currently it wobbles too much. The way it is now feels very strange and is weirdly loud to adjust considering your selling point is noise. It's also confusing to use at first. But the handheld remote is very simple and intuitive to use so it's not a huge deal

So the fan itself is great, I’ve had it nearly a year at this point, it quiet for the amount of airflow it produces. My troubles with it is that it doesn’t work correctly with smart devices. I’ve tried both Amazon and Google devices as it always detects it as a thermostat and not a fan meaning I can’t use them to change the speeds or anything. I’ve been in touch with support a couple of times about it, last being like August/September last year and all I was told was they were working on it but here we are a long time later and it’s still the same issue. Oh and the sensor on either the unit or the remote can be a little finicky at times if something dares to get near it so don’t have stuff near it that might drift in front of the sensor. But other than that it’s great. I would very much recommend it if these two things wouldn’t affect you.

The fan height is very low, we knew this. Put it on a box to raise it up. The fans air shifting power and speed range is excellent. The very low noise is excellent. And if you are happy spending £113 for above then great. I expected the App to be able to determine the correct 2.4Ghz wifi to use from one available. It couldn't and I had to rename the 2.4 connection which disconnected everything else on that network. A few hours were spent trying to get the app to find the fan. After logging out of the newly created account and reinstalling the app I found it would find the fan and it would then work. Make sure you have the correct app installed as there are two. The instructions are useless regarding the wifi setup and are incorrect stating that a 99-0 timer comes up whilst connecting to the wifi. And then on to Alexa. Linking it to your account appeared straight forward but you eventually get to a page where you are asked to enter the code they just emailed to you. At this stage you leave the app running and check your emails, copy the code in to the page only to find it doesn't work. This is because you must not leave that page to get the code, you must get the code from another device, laptop whatever you can receive your email on. Then manually enter the code, do not leave that screen! And after that I got various errors as the Android app requires you to register despite the fact I had already done so on an ipad. And finally, I found that Alexa just doesn't work and couldn't even find the fan as a new device. A horrible experience, a total waste of my time and the fan is now boxed up and going back for a refund.

ASPECTOS DE MEJORA: - En las instrucciones hay un error grave: dice que hay que conectarlo a wifi estando el aparato "encendido". NO ES CIERTO. Tiene que estar el aparato APAGADO. Por culpa de este error me tiré 40 minutos intentando establecer la conexión Wifi. - La oscilación "horizontal" es un poco lenta: tarda 15 segundos en volver a darte el aire en la cara. - La batería no está incluída y su precio es carísimo (60 euros).

Da mein alter Ventilator in die Jahre gekommen ist, war ich jetzt auf der Suche nach einem Ventilator, der gut ausschaut, nicht in der Farbe weiss ist, SEHR leise seinen Dienst tut und so das ganze Jahr über in der Wohnung verbringen kann, weil er sich in die Umgebung einfügt. Die Lieferung von Amazon war Fix wie immer, der momentane Preis bei 159,- Euro. Der Aufbau gestaltete sich sehr einfach - nach 10 Minuten war das Thema gegessen. Nun der Betrieb: Der Whisper Flex ist in der kleinsten Stufe wirklich sehr leise und in der höchsten Stufe fliegen lose liegende Blätter und die Verpackungsmaterialien durch das ganze Wohnzimmer. In der höchsten Stufe ist er dann natürlich auch laut, konstruktionsbedingt, Luft will halt verdrängt werden. Der Whisper Flex steht in der höchsten Stufe bombenfest. Pro: - einfacher Aufbau - wirklich leise in niedrigster Stufe - steuerbar per App - macht ordentlich Wind in der höchsten Stufe Contra: - Einstellrad hakelig, kaum zu nutzen Im Grunde ein toller Ventilator, den ich wirklich weiterempfehlen kann. Das Wählrad am Fuß ist allerdings ein Witz, wer sich das ausgedacht hat, müsste bestraft werden. Die Fernbedienung muß direkt auf den Fuß gerichtet werden, sonst keine Reaktion. Allerdings ist die Fernbedienung wertig und eine Steuerung über App möglich (ohne aufstehen zu müssen). Er ist auch im Schlafzimmer zu verwenden, ein fast unhörbares Motorengeräusch. Wer 40,- Euro sparen mag, kann sich ja den normalen Duux Whisper anschauen. Dieser ist zwar auch leise, hat in meinen Augen aber ein paar Nachteile, die auf dauer Nerven (Klackgeräusche und keine App Steuerung).

Dies ist mein sechster Ventilator in den vergangenen zwei Jahren. 1 Tischventilator, 1 Standventilator und 3 Deckenventilatoren. Alle wurden unter der Prämisse gekauft, für den Nachtgebrauch geeignet zu sein. Alle hatten das Problem, dass sie es nicht waren. Entweder klackerten oder brummten sie. Die ersten beiden, waren zu günstig. Bei meinem ersten Deckenventilator wusste ich noch nicht, dass man auf Gleichstrom setzten sollte, wenn man verhindern will, dass sich ein Brummen durch die Wände ausbreitet. Wirklich ärgerlich waren jedoch die letzten beiden Deckenventilatoren, denn diese brummten zwar nicht, fingen aber nach wenigen Tagen zu klackern an. Der WhisperFlex ist mein erster Versuch dieses Jahr (Aufgeben kann man ja nicht, wenn man im Sommer schlafen will und nicht an seiner eigenen Empfindlichkeit arbeiten möchte.) Hier hat schon das Auspacken Spaß gemacht. Nicht erst tausend Einzelteile, von denen jedes schon das Potential hat zu klappern. Jedes Stück in einem eigenen Säckchen, mit einer Schnur zugezogen. Fuß, Stange und Kopf einfach zusammensteckbar. Der Korb mit dem Rotorblatt – beides aus leichtem, fast schon billig anmutendem Plastik - innerhalb von ein paar Sekunden aufgeschraubt. Und in diesem Fall hatte ich gegen billig anmutendes Plastik nichts einzuwenden, zumal der Rest des Gerätes nicht den Eindruck macht, als sei daran gespart worden. Batterie, für die Fernbedienung ist mitgeliefert, genauso wie das Netzteil für den direkten Betrieb an der Steckdose, falls man auf den Akku verzichtet hat (Wie in meinem Fall. Kaufe ich aber vermutlich nach.) Das Gerät selbst lässt sich problemlos über das „digitale“ Drehrad am Fuß, die Fernbedienung und die App am Handy steuern und wenn man will, auch noch über irgendwelche Sprachassistenten, wie in meinem Fall der Google-Assistant bzw. Google-Home. Das Einzige, was vielleicht für den einen oder anderen eine Herausforderung sein kann, ist es, den Ventilator mit der App zu koppeln, bzw. ihn ins heimische W-Lan zu bringen. Obwohl 5GHz inzwischen Standard sind, kommt auch dieses Gerät nicht mit der Kombination aus 2.4GHz und 5GHz beim Einrichten zurecht. Das heißt: FritzBox – 5GHz Funkkanal ausschalten – App und Gerät nochmal in den W-Lan-Pair-Modus schalten, kurz warten und fertig. (Danach wieder 5GHz Funkkanal einschalten). Ist übrigens das fünfte Gerät in meinem Smart-Home-Sammelsurium, das diesen Schritt bei seiner Einrichtung benötigt hat. Und siehe da, das Gerät funktioniert und es ist leise. Das Einzige, das ich höre ist, wie die Rotorblätter durch die Luft schneiden. Und da ist selbst mir klar, dass man das nicht vermeiden kann. Auf den Stufen eins bis sechs ist das aber vollkommen vernachlässigbar und die Windstärke für die Nacht zufriedenstellend. Der Ventilator ließ sich problemlos unter Google-Home integrieren und lässt sich via Sprache ein und ausschalten. Die Geschwindigkeit mittels Sprachbefehle gezielt zu verändern ist mir noch nicht gelungen. Laut der Liste von Duux geht das auch nicht. Das werde ich aber noch überprüfen. Auf jeden Fall schwenkt das Ding bei Bedarf rauf und runter (beides sehr leise) und es hat einen Modus „natürlicher Wind“, der die Geschwindigkeit des Gerätes zufällig ändert. Finde ich eine nette Idee. Wie oft sie allerdings zum Einsatz kommen wird, wird die Zukunft zeigen. Fazit: Nach dem Aufbau und den ersten Tests, kann ich schon mal sagen, dass dieser Ventilator seinen Mitstreitern der letzten Jahre, in allen Punkten überlegen ist. Mal schauen, wie er sich die kommenden Monate schlagen wird und wann er anfangen wird, neue Geräusche zu produzieren.

Das Produkt wurde sehr gut verpackt geliefert. Sämtliche Einzelteile waren sorgfältig in einzelnen beschrifteten Beuteln verpackt. Der Ventilator macht einen wertigen Eindruck und hebt sich von der Masse ab. Der Zusammenbau war sehr einfach und in wenigen Minuten erledigt. Im Betrieb ist der Ventilator schon sehr sehr leise, wobei ich 13dB auf der untersten Stufe nun nicht unbedingt nachvollziehen kann - eher 20-25dB, aber im Vergleich zu anderen Marken erheblich leiser. Die Einhandbedienung am Gerät ist zwar sehr stylisch, aber unsäglich - zu schnell hat man eine Funktion aktiviert, die man nicht aktivieren wollte, man nimmt hierfür besser die Fernbedienung zur Hand, die leider auch nicht 100%ig funktioniert und auch Raum für Fehlbedienung lässt. Schade - denn auch die Fernbedienung finde ich grundsätzlich gelungen, auch vom Styling her. Ich habe zwei Ventilatoren erworben - der eine hat leider eine kleine (wirklich kleine) Unwucht im Propeller, aus meiner Sicht zu wenig für eine Reklamation, er ist trotzdem leise und wackelt auch nur minimal - man muss schon genauer hinschauen um es zu bemerken. Die automatische Schwenk- und Kippfunktion ist toll und sehr sehr leise. Insgesamt habe ich den Kauf nicht bereut - ein tolles Produkt, trotz minimaler Kritik an der Fernbedienung (Bedienung & Verbindung) und der Qualität (Unwucht), vergebe ich insgesamt 5 Sterne, weil ich der Meinung bin, dass diese Kritikpunkte keine geringere Gesamtbewertung rechtfertigen.

Il pacco è arrivato in anticipo, facile il montaggio, facile l'app, facile la connessione internet, unico neo mancano le istruzioni in italiano, sia nel sito sia cartacee, manca la spia della batteria comperata succesivamente, sul displey non c'è l'icona e, contattato il vendito dice che è così mentre sulla pubblicità compare, manca lo Still con Alexa come pubblicizzato, quindi non si connette, apparentemente valido ma con alcune lacune.....
